Publisher's summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Rachel Van Dyken....

She left.

Two words I can't really get out of my head.

She left us.

Three more words that make it that much worse.

Three being another word I can't seem to wrap my mind around.

Three kids under the age of six, and she left because she missed it. Because her dream had never been to have a family, no her dream had been to marry a rockstar and live the high life.

Moving my recording studio to Seaside Oregon seems like the best idea in the world right now, especially since Seaside Oregon has turned into the place for celebrities to stay and raise families in between touring and producing. It would be lucrative to make the move, but I'm doing it for my kids because they need normal, they deserve normal. And me? Well, I just need a break and help, that too. I need a sitter and fast. Someone who won't flip me off when I ask them to sign an Iron Clad NDA, someone who won't sell our pictures to the press, and most of all? Someone who looks absolutely nothing like my ex-wife.

He's tall.

That was my first instinct when I saw the notorious Trevor Wood, drummer for the rock band Adrenaline, in the local coffee shop. He ordered a tall black coffee which made me smirk, and five minutes later I somehow agreed to interview for a nanny position. I couldn't help it; the smaller one had gum stuck in her hair while the eldest was standing on his feet and asking where babies came from. He looked so pathetic, so damn sexy and pathetic that rather than be star-struck, I took pity. I knew though; I knew the minute I signed that NDA, the minute our fingers brushed and my body became insanely aware of how close he was - I was in dangerous territory, I just didn't know how dangerous until it was too late. Until I fell for the star and realized that no matter how high they are in the sky - they're still human and fall just as hard.

sexy and fast paced!

Rachel Van Dyken is one of my favorite authors! Her writing is versatile. Mafia, mobsters, rock stars- she writes it all!
I have not read the Seaside series yet but can't wait to get started! I had no issue following Trevor and Penny's story. Hot rock star, check. single dad with cute kids, check, crazy ex-wife check.
Trevor was all that and more although at times he could be pretty clueless. I loved Penny's character. so bright, sweet and caring.
All Stars Fall is a perfect book to read while you sit by the pool or at the beach! another enjoyable story by Rachel Van Dyken!
my only teeny tiny disappointment was that I thought it would be a little bit steamer but as a novella he can't have everything. Still a great read!
looking forward to checking out other Big Sky novellas in Kristen Proby's collection! And also looking forward to other Seaside books!

ALL THE STARS!

All Stars Falls by Rachel Van Dyken was the perfect novella and addition to Kristen Proby’s Crossover Series. Rachel has penned a seriously sexy story of a famous rockstar falling for the nanny.

When Penelope moves to Seaside, Oregon from Cunningham Falls, Montana she never expects to meet a famous sexy rocker. Nevermind one that she used to have posters pinned up on her wall of as a teenager!

Trevor meets Penelope in a small cafe she is working in and after a bad string of babysitters he can’t count on and convinces her to become the nanny for his 3 children.

Trevor tries to stay away from Penelope until he cannot resist her any longer and then they fall hard and fast. He writes a song about falling for her and I bawled! This was so, so good!

I am going back to listen to the rest of this series ASAP!

All the Stars

This story is a stand-alone and you do not need to read others in the series as I had only read one book and followed along perfectly.

This was all kinds of sexy and sweet and such a beautiful romance. For a novella it was packed with lots of story with emotion and fluffy goodness. I loved the slow burn and easy banter. I loved the adorable kids and the sweet romance. It just had everything you want in a romance.

The narrators were perfect for the characters and just added that extra layer to the story giving characters depth.

Great read listen

This book from the Kristen Proby Crossover Collection is so good that I have gone and purchased the other books from Rachel Van Dyken seaside pictures series. Trevor and Penny are so great and then bonus Bella, Eric and Malcolm. This read I could not put down it was so good. I rooted for Penny the whole time. I am now going to start reading the other books from this crossover series.

Sweet

I am new to the Seaside Picture group (but have read the original Seaside books). I really enjoyed Trevor and Penelope— a single dad who is also a rockstar and a woman trying to start over. I do wish I would have gotten more of why Penelope wanted to start over (since I have not read the Big Sky books) but it is a novella. It was a sweet story and I liked that they were older than the original Seaside group (which is more young adults). I also enjoyed everyone from the Seaside and Seaside pictures books made an appearance. Definitely a fun novella and makes me want to go back and read the Seaside Picture books.

“Sometimes in Falling You Find Your Forever”

I am a fan of the Seaside gang. Man did I loved this book! Trevor and Penelope story was perfect! This book has all the feels to it. Trevor is a rockstar who recently turned single dad. He is attempting to navigate his new status and his career. Penelope is in Seaside looking for a fresh start. While working at a coffee shop she is offered a nanny position for Trevor. The attraction between them is unbelievable. I loved how well Penelope fit so well with the family and Trevor’s Friends. I loved their story. Great writing and I loved all the things it made me feel. Job well done!

lovely,easy listen

Very easy, fun afternoon listen. No big drama, for change heroin wasn't super annoying, can be listened as standalone without listening whole series.

Takes Over My #1 in Seaside

This story tops my favorite series in RVD's Seaside Series! From the narration of the story to the last song, it left me with happy tears.
If you know the Seaside Series, this book is right up your alley. Love when RVD cameos past characters and you get an update on their lives throughout the story!
The writing is smooth and eases you back into the sleepy town while also not making it boring. I hated having to go to sleep with only a few chapters left, but happy to pick it up again the next morning to start my day off.
Sometimes books of the same author have lines that repeat and sometimes you hear the same lines in other author's books. This one though, THIS ONE had dialect and lines I've never heard before and hit me in all the feels.
Although the ending was predictable, it still left me smiling through tears. With what's happening to our crumbling world, I needed this book more than I knew. I needed light & fluffy with a touch of angst, and a lot of loving laughs. :)

not bad

I just wish when they had two narrators that they would do it as a story not third person. you kind of sort of start to get invested and then all the sudden you'll hear Penny said where she said still worth a listen now
