Basic info but good level setting

She offers great specific examples. This book would be especially useful for a company, beginning its DEI journey together.

Practical and Helpful Resource for All

I was introduced to Amber's work in 2021 and learned so much from her first book, Allies & Advocates.

This book, Say More About That, builds on Allies & Advocates, but is also incredibly informative and useful in itself. Amber has an incredibly accessible style and uses very clear scripts and sample language to help us understand when and how to speak up. It is incredibly useful how to speak up for others.

I work in HR for a smaller public facing organization, and I get to support our staff in creating an inclusive workplace culture. We'll be sharing this book for our next book club choice, and I know the tangible information will be an impactful resource for our team.

I listened on Audible, Amber is a great narrator too.

The Best Tool Kit I've read So Far

Cabral breaks down the impact of allyship and advocates with warmth and understanding. Although she tells it like it is, she provides us the opportunity to consider our discomfort and re-evaluate what your feelings are telling you. I highly recommend

Amber goes deep and wide on IDA&A

I am a IDE&B professional and got so many gems out of this book. Amber gives actionable tips and Dialouge to answer the eternal question "What do I say?". She shares the what and the why clearly and succinctly with research and experience.

Powerful. Read it for a lifetime change

One thing would make this better: accompanying PDF with the necessary illustrations and links. Please share images to improve this.

Great intro/refresh on DE&I

Amber does a great job on breaking down the terms/lexicon and concepts behind allyship and advocating. As a BIPOC woman, hearing her articulate some of the systems and constructs, helped me understand how to voice what I sometimes struggle to communicate with others.
