Would you listen to Animal Magnetism again? Why?
I would definitely listen to this again! Both characters shined as did their supporting cast. I can't gush enough about how fantastic this book was! ANIMAL MAGNETISM is one of my favorite Jill Shalvis' books so far. I loved the setting, the two primary characters, Lilah and Brady, both of them together, the animals, the story - just everything about it!Who was your favorite character and why?
I can't pick just one favorite character! I loved Lilah who was a true guardian angel to the animals and such a friend to everyone... but who didn't want to open her own heart. AND Brady, who had erected a seemingly impregnable wall around his heart. Somehow, Lilah got thru... They were great individually and together. What about Karen White’s performance did you like?
Karen White's narration was perfection exemplified. She even aced the animal sounds. LOL! Every time the duck quacked, I cracked up. She seamlessly differentiated between the characters and I could always tell who was speaking just from her voice. I have picked up audios just because she has narrated them. Her performances have never disappointed. If you get a chance to listen to this book, go for it. Jill and Karen are a winning combination and, together, they create an experience not to be missed. If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
A romance guaranteed to leave you with a big smile...Any additional comments?
Thank goodness, there's more of this series I haven't listened to yet; I'm definitely on it! I would highly recommend this book, indeed this entire series, to anyone who enjoys sexy, contemporary, small-town romances that will leave you with the warm fuzzies for sure!Jill Shalvis & Karen White are a winning combo!

I am closing out the year with just some fun reads that won't get reviewed in my normal fashion. However, I need to say that what people are saying about this series is so very true: Fun, Romantic, and HAWT! This was just an enjoyable listen all around :)
Highly Recommend

The reader is to be commended for knowing the correct pronunciation of timbre, which is mispronounced by so many performers. Sometimes the performance was marred by unclear character voicing, but was mostly excellent.
Fun light-hearted romance

So Good!!!!

The characters were all fairly normal people - without a supposedly "intelligent" but actually idiotic heroine. The lead female (Lilah) was kind and actually acted intelligent. I hate that so many women authors write romances obviously meant for women and yet create heroines who are either always doing OMG dumb things and/or acting like total bitches. And yet, despite this, have gorgeous, intelligent men fall in love with pain-in-the-butt, impulsive, and too-stupid-to-live women.
Happily, that was not the case in this book. Although it didn't have a deeply thought provoking plot - the characters were well written and none of them annoyed me. The way the main man's character evolved was really good. I found myself laughing aloud at his interactions with "Twinkles".
The narrator did a really good job with both the male and female voices. I loved the animals in the book and thought the narrator's pet imitations were great! There were steamy love scenes and a tiny bit of drama - but nothing unrealistic, overly dramatic or contrived.
I liked it!
