And she means anything

What won't this Jewish mother do for her Bubula? Her son owes money to a loan shark, a very famous mafia member. She is determined to not let anything happen to her son, whom she adores. Lots of humor. A very fast listen. Under 2 hours. Have fun!!

oh God how perfect

first let me start by saying, I was given this book free of charge in exchange for an honest review. for anyone who doubts I am free to review honestly look for Rouge another book I was given free of charge. it was awful and my review reflected it. now to the fun stuff there review, the story is short and just to great. lots of cursing and innuendo though so if you don't go in for that kind of stuff might want to stay clear. but the sweet caring mother made this book so stinking fantastic it would definitely be worth getting. check the cost of buying outright I stead of using a credit though, it could be cheaper to just buy the book. but I don't think you'll be disappointed it's well written and just an outright good read/listen

What a Mother Does!

I found this book to be a fun listen. The story was very short, and had many layers. The blurb of the book had me intrigued. I loved the twists that happened. Geoff Sturtevant also added some humor to this book, which I enjoyed. I never saw the end coming, but it fit wonderfully. Jay Cohen, narrator, did a great job with the various characters. I especially loved his Edna voice. Geoff Sturtevant and Steven Jay Cohen were a great pair with this book. I would listen to more of their works in the future.

Absolutely hilarious!

This book was nothing like I expected. It was absolutely hilarious! The only complaint I have is that I wanted it to last longer.

Sol Edelbaum has some gambling issues and he owes a lot of money to a powerful mafia family. His problem is that he cannot pay back and his physical integrity is in serious danger. But there is nothing than a mother will not do for her son.

There was real action in this book, and the events and outcome are unexpected and, honestly, impressive. It was a very entertaining story, and despite it being quite short, I found it engaging and the characters interesting. I can definitely see this adapted to the big screen.

Steven Jay Cohen did this brilliant story justice with his narration. He did an excellent job transmitting the humor in the story, but also Sol’s fear and awe. Cohen’s portrayal of Sol’s mother was just exquisite! A memorable little audiobook that I recommend to everyone! It is impossible to finish it without a smile.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
