About this listen

"Some things won't stay buried . . . at grave's end."

It should be the best time of half-vampire Cat Crawfield's life. With her undead lover Bones at her side, she's successfully protected mortals from the rogue undead. But though Cat's worn disguise after disguise to keep her true identity a secret from the brazen bloodsuckers, her cover's finally been blown, placing her in terrible danger.

As if that wasn't enough, a woman from Bones's past is determined to bury him once and for all. Caught in the crosshairs of a vengeful vamp, yet determined to help Bones stop a lethal magic from being unleashed, Cat's about to learn the true meaning of bad blood. And the tricks she's learned as a special agent won't help her. She will need to fully embrace her vampire instincts in order to save herself—and Bones—from a fate worse than the grave.

Love!

I loved the original narrator of this book. Having the dramatized version though makes it feel all new again!

It’s ok

I love the audio. But the story is like they wrote a spreadsheet of the story line and just put it down on paper. Yes it’s a story. And I do like the story line but I would like a better build up. Maybe even a little more spice. Some huge thing happens but they fall flat because not much was put into it. It’s just like “ this needs to happen for the story, so this is the bare minimum of it happening. There it happened and now we move on” *I don’t want to go into to much because of spoilers.* Bones is my absolute favorite character. He is very well rounded and he seems very deep. I also love his voice. Kay is ok but rubs me the wrong way sometimes. I’m still listening to it. So we will see how I feel about it at the end. So far the first book is still my favorite.

Love it!

The story is terrific, once you read the first Cat & Bones book you cannot wait to read all the rest. And Graphic Audio is the ideal medium for the audiobook. Their team is terrific and they have a knack for finding the perfect voice for each character. Brilliant!

Exceptionally well-performed!

Great book by itself, but the graphic audio performance is exceptionally well-performed and makes it 10x better!

Ten 👍🏻s up!

I absolutely enjoy the dramatized adaptations of this series. These variations was a book wish as I could not reconcile the uncharismatic, pitchy pirate narration of Bones in the previous versions of the audio books.

The characters all have various voices which makes a tremendous difference in the listening experience also the sound effects make the book come to life especially in the fight sequences. Absolutely worth it.

Eagerly waiting to preorder number 4 and the release date for 5.

Adore Graphic Audio

There’s something so compelling in these audiobooks that I didn’t experience reading the book or listening to the regular audiobook. The best of the best performances!

Spectacular Battles

Rating: ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Heat Rating: 🔥🔥🔥
Narrator Performance: 🎧🎧🎧🎧

Another great Cat and Bones adventure! There were some life (or death) altering moments in this one as well as some spectacular battles. I was a little surprised at what we learned about some of Bones’ people. I’m also starting to feel a little hopeful when it comes to Cat’s mom and her seeing the light.

I was a tiny bit disappointed in the narration for this one. I feel that the accents for some of the secondary characters are too subtle. However, that may be because the narrator for the regular audiobook is very dramatic with the accents for the characters.
