About this listen

A generation of radical change. Tenuous balance ready to tip. Opportunities and danger in every corner.

Ronan and his friends stumble upon what remains of humanity after surviving the gauntlet that was their arrival. While both groups are supremely wary of each other, the necessity of cooperation wins out in the end.

No one was expecting that the balance of power within the town of Wildwood was so fragile. Seeking to address the desperate need for resources leads Ronan to pitch his wildest idea yet: Dungeon Farming. The wildlife doesn’t take the sudden boldness of humanity in stride, but armed with more magic than ever, the stage is set for the survivors to thrive.

All too soon, the threat of the wild grow distant enough that people are already starting to forget the dangers...and the resurgent humanity is threatened from within.

That’s another good one

This second book was better than the first and it still gives off Fallout vibes but now It’s against others. Looking forward to the next book!

A solid continuation from book 1

This is a good follow up to book one.
There are still parts of the story that are weird and don’t click in regards to the levels and powers, but the writing keeps it interesting and kind of unimportant. The ending was frustrating and it seems like the main characters from the bunker are disregarding their Bec.

Good sequel

I enjoyed this sequel quite a bit. There was less world explanation which helped the plot. I really enjoyed the dungeon farming aspects of the story. The narration was very well done.

The only thing that really annoys me

The only thing that really annoys me is how do you spend almost no time at all trying to learn how to use magic the right way and when one of them does start showing them using magic the right way it’s for like a brief one line sentence and they never mention it again like learning new magic seems to be a really important thing so it’s kind of frustrating when they don’t spend any time whatsoever trying to learn it
