About this listen

A horde of deadly super villains have escaped from Grayville’s maximum security super-prison, and it's up my team to hunt them down.

And The Shadow Knight is helping out.

Unfortunately, that means we can’t kill these villains when we catch them without shattering our tenuous alliance with the hero.

But as always, I’m one step ahead, and I have some surprises in store for both Shadow Knight and the bad guys that will change the power dynamic in Grayville forever.

awesomely violent

I love the battle between Morals and logic this series has. and of course the different powers tech and strategy.

Great book

The shadow night is a truly garbage super hero. He's a lot of the crappy parts about batman with none of the redeeming qualities. Shows the side of a person with mental issues but adapts it to society in a seemingly positive yet unhealthy way.

Love it

The story is great. The sex scenes could use their own chapter marker so I can skip as I’m not a huge fan of how they’re written.

But all of the rest of the story is fantastic!

Definitely a great read if you don’t offend easily.

Another excellent addition

As always, Logan Jacob's is delivering great, entertaining books. This third book in the series was great and set up the next book well. Looking forward to book 4 and beyond.

Its Heating Up

The rivalry between Slade and Miles is awesome. And the deception employed is downright diabolical. Once again LJ proves you don't need to overdo the gratuitous sex scenes to have an incredible story. I was riveted to this comedic comic book story. The former apprentices of the Shadow Knight were well written characters that I immediately wanted to know more about. And the Big Boom towards the end.....SPECTACULAR
And the actors performed flawlessly
Keep up the great work

Characters! Now with arcs!

This feels more like the first or second real act of a good show. The next book is setup really well while also having this book be a fun story. For once, I did not "that" coming. Something that could have subverted my expectations. With most of this being so obviously predictable, finally taking an unexpected turn was good payoff. And most importantly, by having fewer characters and giving them more book time, it allowed their arcs to be more believable. Sadly we still don't get to arch villains yet, but on the other hand, I like this buildup. This one was great, the next book has the potential to be the best.

IMAGINE BATMAN, IRONMAN, WONDER WOMAN IN A S&M ORGY WITH A SEXY AI REFEREE

While these books are mildly entertaining, they would be much better without all the descriptive porn and ridiculous sex. Im guessing the author still lives in mothers or probably his grandmothers basement with only his computer, fluffy teddy bear, and rubber blowup doll for friends. I cant believe this type of junk gets published outside of Hustler or Penthouse magazine. The voice actors are OUTSTANDING, though. I will be searching out their other works. This is junk.

I want to like this series

I like the characters, the story and where this is going but this is the second book where the author is teasing something that just goes nowhere. It feels like the second book and this one could have been combined to get all this build up done together to get me excited for then next book, Instead this left me really frustrated, there is little to no development for existing characters, we get some good new ones but two books of set up in a row with almost no payoff is hard to recommend. Still love the characters, narration and production is great and I really like the idea behind the series but this needs more meat.

Also just FYI, the explicit sex scenes are not too long but really *detailed* and thankfully not to many, Its a good balance IMO and works even tho I'm not a huge fan of smut it was fine for me but you might have issues, This is book 3 so you should know what your getting into at this point.
