The story continues.

The Academy is still rebuilding after the primordial monster attack last semester. Dirk is ready to get back to training and raising his monster bond, but the ArchTamer has other plans for him. For 200 years, monsters have terrorized the wilds. The only thing keeping humanity safe: Monster Tamers. Orphaned during a wild monster attack when he was young, Dirk has always wanted to join the Monster Tamer Academy. Becoming a Tamer involves bonding with a monster to unlock one’s access to magic. As a Tamer raises their bond, both the Tamer and their monster grow stronger.

Maximo Strident, war veteran and member of local law enforcement, never wanted to enter the dungeon. With promises of wealth beyond his imagination, his squad mates managed to convince him. Max isn’t a Knight, so he has no magical equipment or spells that could help him against monsters. What he does have, however, are the sword forms he learnt at the Blade Academy. These forms are formidable martial arts that make him the match of Level 0 monsters. But Level 99 monsters? He doesn’t stand a chance.

The campaign across Rahma continues, and this time Evan and his party travel to the desert city of Kana. The lizard Demi-Human lord is quick to welcome Evan, but his stoic mage of a sister tells Evan she isn’t impressed with him. Men don’t impress her in general, so she prefers a woman’s touch, and nothing Evan can say will change her mind. Evan thinks the lady mage is protesting a bit too much, though, since she can’t seem to keep her eyes off him.

From book one: Being able to rip the soul out of a creature, store it in a precious gem, and use it to cast spells might make me the most powerful student at the Astra Argent Magical Academy. Only I can’t tell anybody about it. Because it's illegal, and they’ll kill me if they find out. But they need me whether they know it yet or not, so I’m going to capture a lot of souls and cast a lot of spells. This is gonna be a crazy semester. This is a monster-girl harem dark-magic academy story.

Yes, I killed all the supervillians housed in the Grayville Ultramax Prison. I’m sure some, like the Shadow Knight, would consider that to be crossing a line and an unforgivable act of an unrepentant mass murderer. I consider it another high-performance day on the job. If the Shadow Knight has a problem with it, he knows where to find me. I really hope he does have a problem.

I am so close to triumph I can taste it, and everything is within my grasp. A bevy of scientifically engineered monster girls. The destruction of the Matriarchy. Wealth and power beyond reckoning. I just need to make The Duchess mine. For science.

Then a phoenix princess comes flying out of the desert, and she begs Evan to save her people from deadly creatures that have pursued them relentlessly. Evan’s not one to turn down a beautiful princess, and besides, there is treasure to be found in the desert. Maybe it’s time to start his own dragon hoard...

Without another crystal, my second son will fade away. Together with my dragonmancer girlfriends and an army of soldiers, we're going into the subterranean realms to find more crystals. But my mission doesn't stop there. If I find more than one crystal and the fabled substance that will restore my potency, I will father even more dragon children. How many children are too many?
