I love the whole series of Ryan DCI Ryan I love all the characters I love the relationship with him and his wife and his family and his friends but I do have a question are we going to get a book 24 regarding Anna getting arrested because that was a cliffhanger at the end

LJ Ross is a master at character development! While the plots are also unique and keep you turning pages, it’s the characters that are remarkable and draw you into nonstop engagement! Have read the entire Ryan series and can’t wait for the next book to come out.

Excellent story and While Jonathan Keeble is an excellent narrator his Australian accent is awful! I should know, I am Australian.

The writing is not great-silly little asides spoken by police-not at all realistic

The story was predictable and I guessed the outcome in the first few chapters. Too much time was spent on the characters story line and not enough on the “detecting” for my liking. A little bit too much romance novel! Narration was excellent and there is a good cliffhanger which will do away with the characters perfect sounding relationships.

I like LJ Ross’ books. The DCI Ryan series is my favorite to read over several authors. This book was too fast, easy to guess who did what and who was who, and ended too quickly. It was a waste of a credit. Best to wait on this book and read it when the next one comes out. If I knew how it ended, I would have waited myself.
