Publisher's summary

Blane Kirk is a Navy SEAL turned attorney with old money and an even older pedigree. High powered and aggressive, he plays the field, changing women as often as he changes his ties - but he's had no complaints so far. He has only two rules: Don't date employees, and don't get emotionally involved. These are rules he can easily live by...until his runner, an employee in his law firm named Kathleen Turner, does an unexpected faceplant into his lap.

Kathleen's too young and innocent for Blane, and much too vulnerable. After her friend is murdered, Blane knows she could be next - and he knows that keeping her alive means keeping her close to him. Kathleen's like no woman he's ever met, and protecting her could be the one thing to change his life forever. He may be able to keep her safe from the killer...but can he keep her safe from himself?

Blane's Turn is a companion novel to No Turning Back, book one in the Kathleen Turner series.

Good to have Blane’s POV

This was worth getting Blane’s POV. I made some wrong assumptions about him and his motives. It also reinforced my dislike of Kathleen leading Kade on. These brothers have a special bond and I don’t like that she may come between them. I’m definitely curious to how this is all going to work out.

Team Blane

Tiffany Snow gives yet another reason for me to be Team Blane! She is a captivating story teller that draws you in and won't let go till you read the very last word! 😍😍

Just the Worst Narration Ever Done!

First as my title says. The Narrator is just so darn awful and ruins the listening experience. Not the same Person who Narrated the other Kathleen Turner books.

It also shows how base and down right disgusting Blane's playboy behavior and what he thinks and does with women.
I actual forgot about his perspective and it just reminds about how many times he keeps going back and sleeping with Candy, the Ice Queen, ( related to series)
even after she (in the series tells everything she can about Kathleen to a sorority sister and a killer to get Blane back and puts Kathleen in Danger. You'll understand what I mean when you get to that part.
I guess maybe reading it really would be better.

Very good addition to series

This book fills in some information from Blane's view that the beginning books of the Kathleen Turner series didn't have, particularly about Kade. The narration is very good! Very enjoyable but probably only for those who have already read or listened to the series.

Snow is an amazing author. And Daniels did an amazing job with narration. Very captivating.

Wish there was more.

To short. I loved the characters in the series and wanted more of Blane's side. The series is missed.

This is Where The Saga Begins

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blane's Turn?

When Blane goes to get Kade

Which character – as performed by Luke Daniels – was your favorite?

I am learning to appreciate this Daniels brother, James still remains my fave and I own all of Author’s work recorded by James . Not to be missed!
Luke’s best attribute is his humor.
If he deepened his voice more often, he would greatly improved his audience ownership.

Great but...

I enjoyed hearing No Turning Back from Blaine's perspective. However, Luke Daniels should have conferred with Angela Dawes about Cade's voice. Dawes makes him sound dark and brooding, which fits the character. Daniels made him sound like a smart aleck dweeb, which did not fit the character. Other than that it's an excellent book.

Bad story, great narration..

Any additional comments?

I’m not even sure what this book is supposed to be about. Is it about Blane finding his brother, every other chapter goes 17 years into the past? Is it about Blane lusting after a girl 24 when he’s around 37, and he tells himself over and over again that this can’t work, leave her alone? Is it about Blane being the lawyer for mobsters? Is it about Blane’s now grown brother breaking into someone’s house/office with Blane’s blessing and his warning not to get caught? Is it about Blane getting involved in the murder of Kathleen’s neighbor, and his sudden need to protect her, while continuing to lust after her? This book is all over the place. At one point I read the part 3 times of where Blane’s client held a knife to Kathleen’s throat then suddenly the client was on the floor with the knife in his side. Who did it? WTH happened? I still don’t know. Maybe one of you readers can tell me what happened.

At 40% I give up. This is book 6 in the series and I just looked at what book 1 said and I’m totally confused because Blane and Kathleen met in book 1 for the first time then they met in book 6 for the first time. AND the first 5 books are written in the first person and 6 and 7 are in the third person. This whole series is beyond me. Then in book 7’s description it sounds like Kade falls in love with Kathleen, Blane’s girlfriend. That’s just too much. I hate a love triangle. Readers said it was a stand alone book but I find that hard to believe. And that it was a "companion" to book one, told in Blane's point of view. Really? In Kathleen's POV it's told in the first person but in Blane's it's in the third person? I tried to read Ms. Snow’s book Blank Slate and ended up stopping because it too boring. But I decided to give her another chance with this one. But, no. I’m done with her. Sorry.

There was some sexual tension on Blane’s part but no sex up to 40%.

And for those of you who don’t like swearing, the F-BOMB was used 67 times. I don’t mind that word but I know a lot of you do. You’ve been warned.

I got this book through KU.

As to the narration: Mr. Daniels did a wonderful job making Blane's voice sound really sexy and Kathleen's voice sound very feminine. I would definitely listen to him again.

Narrator Awful

I could not get past chapter 1. The narrator was awful. When you have heard this entire series narrated by Angela Dawe this narrator lacks charisma, excitement, just very dull. I will be requesting a refund for this purchase. I just cannot continue. So sad,..
