I will adjust this if it gets better.

OK, while I'm "woke" as hell, {can we shut up with the woke as an insult already? Do better people} the political stuff bothers me NOT at all. My issues, is the writing seems really sloppy. We're getting a ton of awkward exposition, the characters are acting out of characters and while they are saying "oh wow, this is out of character for us" I'm not feeling it at all. And why in the heck would mother earth make the arbitrary limitation of the task just being Stacia and Declan and them not accessing any of their physical support, like money. I can't decide if I can go further. Some of this is just cringe. I'm also REALLY not a fan of flashback style stories.

I love this series

Despite the various twists and turns that some reviewers can not seem to handle at the time, the story lines always resolve into a greater and more compelling whole I can hardly wait for the next (hopefully not the final) book.

Good continuation of the story.

The only thing I don't like, that seems to be pretty consistent the further this series goes. Is the character development of Chris and Tanya. They seem to become irrelevant.

Good stuff, but different from prior books

Good expansion of the universe. Direction is interesting. Looking forward to the next one. Hope we get to see the previous antagonist do more.

Quality series. Books 1-18 no drop-off in quality

What I find really impressive is that after 18 books in the series it still feels fresh. Almost every series I have read each book is a step down in quality until the only reason you listen anymore is just a struggle to get to the finish line. But not here. If you liked book one you will like book 18.

Wow… these reviews really reveal the reader base

I had no idea how many planet-hating political conservatives this series had as readers. The fact that IF the planet had a sentience available to defend it, humans would never have made it past the Industrial Revolution, is just common sense. Humans absolutely trash the planet. That’s just facts. Apparently, many readers can’t handle that reality and want to trash the writer for writing about it. Loved this whole series, including this book. Considering how many people it pissed off, I think less of that reader base is better off gone. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Should be the Declan Accords

I use to be a big fan of this series, until Declan become all powerful, and it became the Declan Accords and stopped having anything to do with demons and the main characters I got interested in the series in the first place.

Good Continuation of the Story

I know people have complained about there being more Declan novels but really Conroe has always rotated every other book. The only I have to say about this one is it feels a little forced and rushed. It was good and John Conroe still has written my favorite series and trilogy. I'm still a huge fan of Demon Accords and of John Conroe stuff in general, but it might be time to write a conclusion to the series. Just my thoughts. #LoveConroe
