About this listen

Hell hath no fury like a witch-turned-vampire scorned....

My long-dead vampire brother has returned from hell. He's challenged my right to the vampire throne. He brought a hellhound with him. Every time his hellbeast kills, the bastard gets stronger. He's unstoppable. Stronger and faster than any vampire I've ever encountered. Have I finally met my match?

On top of that, my ex-vampire lover is on a tear. I need to rally every vampire I can find. I've teamed up with Prince Ladinas and the Vampire Underground. These vampires aren't much for the democratic processes of the Vampire Council. They need a bloody queen—and I'm just the bitch for the job.

She’s baaaack

Ahhhhh!!!
This book was a fantastic continuation of Mercy’s story, and I was so glad to dove back in to her particular brand of magic and mayhem. The story took a little while to get started, but the details were so appreciated and allowed for context. I cannot wait to see where this story goes. I’m so glad that the next book comes out soon. The narration as always is on point, and I’m loving all the new characters we get to meet.

A Great Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and found it very enjoyable. Mercy is back and holding court. But something strange is happening, an Angel is turning vampires human, hell hounds are roaming streets. Mercy needs to figure out what is happening and fast. . Interesting characters and suspenseful, fast moving plot will keep you listen until the end. This is a very enjoyable start to this new series.

I'm addicted to this author's series

Theophilus's Mercy, the vampire queen, is one kick-butt character. I've enjoyed her previous series and cameo appearances. Bloody Queen ups the ante for Mercy. She has a new romantic interest and Ramon is back. There is a new evil to eliminate and a hint of things to come from a possible ally. Kelly Hazen provides the best voice acting to engage the listener. I loved it.

Great read

Bloody Queen (The Fury of a Vampire Witch, Book 1) was a great read by Theophilus Monroe. Something has emerged from Vampire Hell for Mercy's ex-vampire lover, Ramon. He wats to drag him back to hell. Ramon is finally happy; hes human, has a new life, a family and a job. She must leave New Orleans and stop the devilish beast before he can hurt Ramon. The portal is where everything began, her hometown of Exeter, Rhode Island. It is still open and she cant close it. Dead vampire wraiths are pouring out looking for new bodies to possess. I enjoyed listening to Kelley Hazen's narration and the life she brings to the characters. This was a great read and I cant wait to read more by the author.

A Formidable Paranormal Queen

This first book in "The Fury of a Vampire Witch" series was exhilarating. This story featured Mercy Brown who was the main character of "The Legacy of a Vampire Queen" series. While listening to the first series, Mercy became one of my favorite characters. I am thrilled that there is another series which will feature Mercy as the protagonist. Mercy remained a very complex individual. I enjoyed her snarky comments. I thought that the pop references were humorous. The action was almost non-stop. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Kelley Hazen's narration was entertaining as she provided different voices for the various characters. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Love it!

I have loved Mercy in other series and have been looking forward to listening to this series. So many twists and turns and throw in a Hell Hound and you have an engrossing story and a great narrator. I look forward to listening to the rest of the series.

Love me some Mercy!

I couldn’t wait to have Mercy back and boy did she not disappoint. She is my favorite GOE character and she provided all the drama and humor that I love from her. Her type of humor may not be appreciated by all by I do love of it. Loved the new Prince which brought her new love interest. The other new characters were well developed and enhanced the story. The world building was well done in the new location and made the story. Overall this first book to her new story was well done and had me wanting more. Bring it on Mercy I want more! The narrator did an awesome job with this book. Their distinguishing between characters was magnificent and really gave a lot to the book. It was amazing how they can give so much to each character that you could tell who each character was just by the sound of the voice. I knew who the Prince was and who Mugs was just by tone of voice and of course my girl Mercy has a voice of her own. They also have different tones that make the books come alive when different aspects of the book is happening that is just perfect. They do a great job. This was an ARC and this is my honest review.
