cute friends to lovers

I loved that Aubrey and Tate were friends all through high school and both wanted to be more. it took graduation coming up to give them the push.
The narration for this book was a bit choppy especially for Aubrey, one chapter missed a whole page and a half before the next chapter. It stopped mid sentence then went right into Tates chapter. I mainly noticed because I was reading the book at the same time as I was listening to the audiobook.

A cute, good natured new adult romance!

This is my first book by Leslie McAdam and by narrator James Cavanaugh and they definitely won’t be my last. It’s a sweet story of best friends to lovers at eighteen years old. It has some steam and great scenes. Narration was excellent. There was a few sound quality things that bothered me slightly, but it didn’t detract from the book or performance.
Overall, loved it and recommend for anyone that enjoys friends to lovers or new adult books.

Enjoyable Story!

This was a sweet and funny coming of age story. Tate and Audrey are so cute. These two have been friends for years and they have both been secretly in love with each other. With graduation coming up Tate decides to make him move. I listened to the audio and I really enjoyed the narrators tell the story. Tate is makes such a great boyfriend as he goes to great lengths to find out how to pleasure his girl and the interaction between him and his brothers when he asks them for advice is funny. Loved this story.

Cute Story

This was my first book from this author. This is a sweet and sometimes awkward coming of age, friends to lovers story. The characters are ending their senior year in high school so if you don’t like romance characters of a younger age then this may not be for you. This is very sweet story with a little bit of heartache thrown in. I thought the narrators were great.

Boy on a Train

I loved it, why did I wait so long to listen to this one?!
Tate is smitten I loved that about him.
Audrey never thought her best friend could have the same feelings she does.
I swooned, this happens every time I read a friends to lovers trope, they make my heart happy.

I always find the coming of age stories to be the best all that hopeful love, will they won’t they. Can’t have it can’t live without it.
Just trust me this is a gem and the narrators do a phenomenal job giving these characters their own voices.

My favorite by McAdam!

One of the best coming of age reads I've read.

This brought back so many memories of my relationship with my husband because we were highschool sweethearts. This was a quick, fun, sweet, emotional read. It was a book I wish was around when I was a teen, so I hadn't have felt so pressured. It was also nice to finally jump back into a Leslie McAdam read.

This is my second time reading this book/listening. I read the ebook first and fell in love with the story so much I wanted to listen to the audio. James did a great job, Desiree wasn't too bad, but there was a lot of swallowing noises. I did let the author know, so hopefully, it will get fixed soon.
