The Bully Boss Behaving Badly

Casey Uhlig is a big man with a temper to match, and in the past his rage has cost him boyfriends and respect. The anger is a roadblock, but he has been too busy building his company to get a handle on it. One morning, Casey’s temper explodes when he’s furious with his computer and he terrifies a beautiful boy from the tech department. The boy runs, but his frightened eyes haunt Casey, and he decides it’s time to learn to apologize.

The Scared IT Geek

Angel Gaffin has had a difficult life. He grew up with an abusive father and doesn’t respond well to violence. When his boss, Mr. Uhlig, blows up at him, he heads home to hide. What he doesn’t count on is his boss tracking him down to apologize. Angel is shocked by the feelings one apology stirs up in him.

Power Play to Grow Closer

A date with Casey leads to a relationship that both scares and comforts Angel. Casey is older than Angel and that difference feeds into Angel’s craving to have someone protect him. Angel hands over his trust. Problems arise because while Casey might be trying now to be a good person for Angel, his past coming to light might tear apart the fragile connection they’ve established. Will Casey be able to grow as a person and become the man Angel needs, or will he give in to his anger and pain, and ruin both their lives?

Grabs you and doesn’t let go!

This story is one that really tugs at your heartstrings - Angel is a great person who seems to have drawn the short stick. His dad is horrible and abusive and, at first glance, you think Casey is going to be the same. Ki Brightly proves us wrong - that both men are strong and deserving of love. A beautifully emotional story and a good performance by Chris Boykin makes this a great listen!

Casey & Angel

Casey is Angel's older boss who has some anger management issues. Its caused issues in the past, and he still needs to work through it. I liked them together, and Angel was a sweetheart. Casey could be a hero/protector for him. Casey really needs to control his temper if he wants things to work. Angels father is a terrible person. Casey has things in his past that can cause problems for him and Angel. I did feel Casey took too long to come clean. He also really needed to work through his anger issues sooner.

Chris Boykin was new to me, but I feel like he did well and I would listen to him again.

Amazing

This book went straight to my heart. How could Angel live in such fear of everything. How could a man Casey never control his temper, yet here they were attempting a relationship. I loved this book and narration. I received this audio free for a honest review

Love this story!

I honestly love this story and have been back to reread it several times. The narration was decent, pretty stilted in the beginning but it does smooth out for the most part as the book goes on.

Dark & Twisted in a Good Way

Dark and twisted story with likable (for the most part) characters. Angel's father reminded me of my own and how truly hateful people can be. Mild d/s relationship between the two MC's, plenty of angst and no cheating. New to me narrator does a wonderful job of making the story that much more interesting. Highly recommend!

loved it

I loved this book. Chris Boykin's voice is amazing and really brings the story to life. Angel Gaffin hasn't had a easy life. Growing up his dad was abusive and he scares easy. After his boss yells at him he runs home scared. Casey Uhlig yells at a beautiful boy in the tech department and he know he must apologize. He goes to Angel's apartment and apologizes. That apology leads to a date. But will Casey's past come back to haunt him or will they both find happiness they both deserve?

growth and changes with love ❤️

Angel stole my heart by chapter 3. There were so many volatile emotions all over the place in this story. Some were warranted and others were pure meanness and selfishness. Pete was beyond redemption and didn't seem to want it. He was happy being miserable and blaming everyone. I enjoyed seeing the relationship between Casey and Angel progress as Angel came out of his shell and found what he needed and happily took it. I loved the age gap dynamic because it added depth to the story for me. As Casey grew and changed I appreciated his changes and remorse. A true sign of growth. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing the characters and story to life.

A different Kind of Bully Story!

The story of Casey and Angel was not what I had expected. There is a lot more to the underlying meaning of Bully. This is a BDSM story, and it is a less commonly read about Dynamic then most BDSM stories! I do not actually want to give it away though! I think that anyone who enjoys BDSM stories about new and original situations will enjoy this one. It is steamy and there is some sweet underlying in there. Very unique listen and I enjoyed Chris Boykin's narration!

An Unexpected Connection

When an incident at work leads to Casey tracking his employee Angel down, the connection they form is unexpected.
The relationship that forms between them brings many issues to light and together they tackle past and present issues.

A special relationship and bond forms between them and as they look to the future they find themselves overcoming the past as well.

The narration brings this engaging story to life wonderfully. Chris does a fantastic job and was easy to listen to.
