I highly recommend this detective series. I am looking forward to reading the extra books you can get based on the characters in this series. After reading a lot of reviews there were a lot of complaints concerning the amount of violence. I actually think it makes for a more exciting book in this series but I don't always think that way. I do like that the books are not based around sex or sex scenes. Although they all have some romance and personal relationships and friendships. I really like that all the characters stay true to their intended personalities throughout the series of books. I highly recommend reading in order although it is not necessary but I feel it does make for faster paced, more exhilarating experience.

I found this book different than the others, personally I found this story did not move add fast paced as the others.

Cherry bomb does give a more in depth look into Jack, Phin, Harry, Herb, and the rest of the characters in Jacks life. It is worth the read/listen especially if you are like me and reading/listening to all of Jacks adventures.

disappointed in this one in series. too long, too many unnecessary details, too much detailed sex, way way too much monkey acts description...just disappointed.

Would you listen to Cherry Bomb again? Why?

The detailed descriptions of the executions were shocking and made my skin crawl..That's the horrific part. The antics of Harry and his pet monkey were hilarious. I am actually listening to the story for a second time now and am not quite so shocked about the executions but the funny parts (and there are many) are just as funny the second time.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Cherry Bomb?

The description of Harry's crime-mobile. Unfortunately I didn't have the print version so I can only guess how to spell Crimabago.

What does Susie Breck and Dick Hill bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have heard Dick Hill narrate a lot of Jack Reacher stories and he always seems to have a very matter of fact delivery. However in this story he seems more like an actor than a reader. Both Susie Breck and Dick Hill put a lot of emotion into their roles as narrators and this makes the story much more compelling. Great job!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Keep your mouth shut and watch your step.

This book was different from the other books. Jack has a few love scenes that felt a bit out of character but, despite that, I enjoyed the book and already have the next book so I will recommend it. You get closure, finally, to the loose ends left by the other books and Jack gets a new beginning.

Nothing to love really -

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Same old same old, really tired of Alex and felt like this was beaten to death, really sick of the whole story line.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No

Can't read anymore right now. I find the author has created some good characters, but is very sophomoric with some, it gets old and ridiculous, maybe he thinks it is funny, but it isn't and I'm tired, not sure if I'll read the last two or not. I am done for now.

I would be hesitant to try another book...although Breck and Hill were very good.

Again I would be hesitant I think the plot was lost with so many sex scenes.

Jack Daniels she was determined and in the end did a self-evaluation.

As with all the Jack Daniels audible series, I love the storyline in each book. Susie Breck and Dick Hill make the characters come to life. Love listening to the parts for Harry McGlade because it's hilarious to me.
