Stress in students cause serious negative effects

This book shows essential steps for managing stress among students. Students may experience stress due to poor sleeping habits, academic pressure, and poor nutrition and transitioning to a new environment etc. They need enough sleep and less pressure for their brain to relax and recharge for it to function well. High stress levels could lead to physical symptoms, poor management. Identifying the cause is the first step to managing stress. You will discover this straight forward guide useful to make your school life easier and fun. I highly recommended it.

Great topic

I think this is an important topic for parents to understand and I learned some good information. I didn’t love the narration. It was read a bit slow for me so I sped it up a tad.

Good, solid advice for parents

This useful book was well worth the listen for me. My kids are all in school, and especially this year suffered from stress. Sometimes it's not that obvious because they don't communicate it well, but the author outlines the basic causes and mechanisms to help this. Really useful!

A shield against student overwhelm

Ahh the days of falling asleep on a desk!
Doesn’t the book cover bring back memories? Maybe not for today’s students. They are bombarded with projects that even a grown up would be overwhelmed with! I’m glad my son has this resource so that he can become mindful of stress triggers. Grade A resource!

Great INFO for me (ADHD) and my son (ADHD)

I found the information in the book very useful! The narrator's tone is easy to listen to, if you find he's speaking too slow, I found 1.3 speed to be a comfortable pace. The knowledge I gained from this will carry on for a lifetime! Challenges of every sort will arrive whether you're a student or raising a student, THIS IS FOR YOU.

Easy to follow stress reduction approach.

Being a retired teacher, I appreciate any resources or tools that’ll improve the quality of learning taking place in the classroom. Having come through a global pandemic and economic crisis many families are feeling overwhelmed, especially as they get ready for school this fall. This audiobook is a good resource to listen to when getting children ready for that first day of school. It’ll help any youngster better cope with a stressful school environment.

Great book for parents!

I really enjoyed this book. As a parent with a child with ADHD, it is very important to know what outside influences and daily routines can cause stress. I like the steps that chapter 3 covers in regards to managing stress. Most of these are common steps, but we sometimes forget how overwhelming life can be for school-aged children, and as a parent with a full-time job these can easily be overlooked. I know from experience that sleep, a good diet, and music are key for stress management. The author was spot on with the information and the narration was clear to understand.
