About this listen

It's 2182. Stuck on a dull space station, 17-year-old Loni Solace's heart is failing her, and not just metaphorically. In search of one last thrill, she jumps aboard a freighter to see the galaxy for the first and last time. She expects adventure, but what she gets is a nightmare as crewmates start to disappear, and crazed robots start attacking.

Enter Hardy: a combat ChronoBot with a messed-up memory, now Loni's unexpected ally in a system aimed against her. Loni, Hardy, and a few badass crewmates are thrown into high-octane battles and face-offs, diving deep into a universe of betrayals and conspiracies. The stakes? Their lives and a truth that questions everything Loni knew about herself and her family.

Breaking the series mold

The dual narrators is a bit off-putting personally, seems it would have worked better to have character voices rather than swapping for full chapters.

Other than that good listen, decent spin-off.

Pretty Good Follow Up

I enjoyed the Hamilton series and the many characters with Hardy and Coogonn being my favorites. This book had some interesting moments and I’m looking forward to the next chapter for Hardy.

Metso-Metso

This is not all that great. I was hoping better. The split story narrators was smart. I was hoping this would be as humorous as the USS HAMILTON series was.
