An insightful and wonderful journey
“Close to Om” takes the reader or listener on an insightful and wonderful journey. I truly felt myself growing along with not just the physical yoga practice but the theme: How you do your yoga is how you do your life. I had so many realizations reading the story that I also listened to the audiobook, narrated by the author. I feel that I really do approach much of life in the same way I approach a yoga practice and I appreciated the reflection I saw in this mirror of a book. I highly recommend this book to everyone. The results are worth every moment of the journey reading and listening to “Close to Om.”

Amazing book for ANY yogi
I wasn't sure if I would enjoy this book--honestly, I didn't even know who Andrea was! I was so pleasantly surprised by how easy of a listen this book was. It was educational, inspirational, and informative. In this book Andrea tells you stories from her experiences, guides you through different exercises, and gives you little nuggets of wisdom that take you from your mat and through your everyday life.
I think it would be an awesome book for all yogis--from beginners to those who are advanced/very experienced! I was in a bit of a rut with my yoga practice, but this was just the inspiration I needed to get back on my mat.

Came at the right time in my life!
I am loving this book! This book came to me at a really amazing time. I have struggled a lot with body image & loving myself after having my son. So listening to Andreas book and hearing someone talk that's been where I am has been amazing. It sounds cheesy but it’s been so helpful getting me through a really hard transition.

Had a talk with Andrea over her book signing in the Gulf. It happened to be during a Yoga class that she was instructing and she gave mention to her book being available on Audible:

What did you love best about Close to Om?
Andrea's straight ahead delivery, vulnerability, humor and knowledge make for a great read and a solidly relatable description of yoga and many aspects of the practice that are sometimes glazed over nebulously or omitted entirely in the modern class setting. I wholeheartedly enjoy this book.
