Publisher's summary

Jordan Kaisall has problems.

Business problems, political problems, cheating ex-girlfriend problems. He knows that a week away from the Washington D.C. Beltway won't do a damn bit of good for those problems, but his beach house in Montauk is exactly where he needs to be right now.

April Veach has plans.

Work plans, travel plans, try-everything-once plans. Montauk is keeping her plenty busy this summer between decorating wedding cakes and teaching yoga, and busy is good. But busy is also a lonely bed, and that wasn't part of her grand plan.

After a weekend together, his problems and her plans take them in an unexpected direction.

Head to Montauk, Now!

I love this story. The characters are smart, sexy, and intriguing. The story has everything I love in a good read: heat, humor, suspense, and steam! Jordan and April will draw you in and have you begging for more. Connor Brown brings these characters to life with vigor and texture. Fun and fast read.

too short to make a true connect

I did enjoy the listen. I did enjoy the story, but I was wanting more. There was this something that was missing. There was more that wanted to be told. It was more to Jordan and I could just feel it was wanting to be released. I just did not get it. And then there was April she was a woman of many talents. There chance was just that a chance and not at the same time. I would have liked to see a more deeper or elaborate story for the two.

I loved getting a chance to visit the Walshes, even it it was just one of them.

Narration added a layer to the story. Connor Brown provided a voice to the man that had been through much and had something to find. The audio was clear and smooth.

Amazing!

Once again Kate Canterbary gives us an amazing book! If you have never listen to any of her books…GET THIS BOOK NOW!!! In this genre, she is by far one of the very best.

This is a standalone, no cliffhangers book. There are slight references to things in her other books and a couple crossover characters but you do not need to read the other books to thoroughly enjoy this book. You will laugh, swoon, and have many “awwww” moments in this book, as well as some surprises. Kate has such an amazing ability to combine sexy alpha males with equally as strong and amazing females. This book is smart, witty, and very well written. It moves fast and keeps you engaged. Kate has a way of writing about occupations, events, situations, etc that I always feel smarter after reading about them. There is always something that feels very real about her characters. They are not perfect but that is what makes the stories perfect. I could recap the synopsis of the book, but the one the author provides is spot on.

I have held off reading this. I could not bring myself to leave the Walshery and move on. Writer lady you've done it again and again and I absolutely love the surprise of J&A. Thank you! Xoxox Pervy Girl

Not so much

I usually really like this author but this book was very boring and the narration didn’t hold my attention. Sorry .

Fun and Flirty, Stand Alone Novella

This Novella is so fun! A little bit of suspense. A few too many di*k jokes. And a girl who brings the guy to his knees. Literally

If you are familiar with Canterbury’s books, you know that one of her biggest and most popular series is about this huge family based out of Boston. The series is about siblings and I FREAKING LOVE IT. Long live Will and Shannon forever. Anyways, Coastal Elite is a standalone spin off of those series.

Jordan is an ex military man with lots of issues after an injury. He meets this precious little cupcake named April. The book it told from his perspective alone and I adore this. I have never read or listened to a book like this before. In just under 4 hours, you can fall in love with this couple. And have a whole lot of respect for the heroine.

Special thanks to Audible for an amazing sale last week. This is one that I snagged!

Notes: This books deals with suspenseful situations.
