Fun for beginners
As someone who had no prior experience in game development, I was genuinely surprised by how accessible this audiobook made everything feel. The step-by-step instructions were clear and easy to follow, even for a complete beginner like me. I liked how the author broke down complex concepts like scripting and UI design into manageable lessons. What really stood out was how empowering it felt—by the end, I had the confidence to start building my own game ideas. The coding challenges were a great touch, making the learning process engaging. A Whole New Skillset
You will walk away from listening to this book with a whole new skill set. If you have no coding experience, be patient with yourself. The learning curve is steep, and you will need to take it slow. But the outcome is worth it to learn the basic concepts of coding that you can apply across several contexts in addition to learning a coding language (C#) and building your own game.
The explanations of the concepts in this book are clear and succinct. The PDF is a lifesaver for sure because there are some things you just need to see, especially when you get stuck. Overall, this is a comprehensive step-by-step guide to coding your own game for aspiring programmers and books like this make the barrier to entry extremely low so that anyone can learn in a short period of time.

This is a game changing guide for aspiring developers!
As a 70-year-old with absolutely no prior experience in this field, I found the book to be incredibly Accessible, and an enlightening guide. It’s not every day that you come across a book that not only de mystifies a complex subject like game programming, but also does it in a manner that feels tailored for absolute beginners. The first thing I realized when I started listening to this book was that I could finally have a conversation with my grandkids about their games. I also am going to purchase the book for them so that they can go through this course. My grandsons are 12 and 14 years old and this is right up their alley. Thank you so much for writing this book.
