How to help a hoarder
This book was designed to help others to help the severe hoarder. It does have excellent recommendations for helping and understanding this anxiety driven behavior.

Brief summary of hoarding, great information
However I wish more emphasis on technique of solving it as a hoarder not a person living with a hoarder, since I am a hoarder I wanted more emphasis on detail oriented technique.

Enlightened diplomacy with a hoarder
I found this short book eye-opening and well worth its price. It has some basic ideas for anyone trying to navigate roadblocks in family communications, especially surrounding obsessive-compulsive and stubbornly-defended behaviors. Everyone gets a chance for a new view of themselves and their relations. It offers a humane approach. On my own tangent touched off by this, it was interesting to reflect on "normal" folks as collectors of some sort (sometimes of things quite abstract like bodies of belief) barricading themselves in a sort of psychological dwelling.

Smells like AI generated save your $
A complete bait and switch. I thought this was a book written by Patricia Perkins “Overcoming Compulsive Hoarding”, but it is not. Just an AI generated chit chat using the same name. I purchased this audio book thinking I could gain some insight and strategies based upon clinical research to support my hoarding. The narrative came off more as a scolding and blah blah blah. It gave some no brainer strategies about how families can try to strong arm their loved ones into purging. No talk on why people
hoard possibly due to trauma or loss and small steps people can take to work towards a cleaner life. Save your money
