About this listen

An original audio series featuring brand new content from decluttering expert Dana K. White.

Do you wish a decluttering expert could come alongside you to help tackle specific roadblocks that always derail your decluttering journey? Dana K. White, self-proclaimed recovering slob and author of Organizing for the Rest of Us and Decluttering at the Speed of Life, is here to help with her original audio series, Decluttering Deep Dives.

Each installment of Decluttering Deep Dives covers a frequent problem that Dana hears about from her readers and listeners. Featuring Dana’s signature light-hearted voice and approachable tactics, Tortoise and the Hare Decluttering dives into these common struggles:

  • Resisting Dana’s Signature “Take it There Now” strategy
  • Viewing decluttering as a big all-or-nothing project
  • Creating more clutter while trying to declutter
  • Fighting (and losing to) decision fatigue
  • Trying to declutter with limited time

Fans of Dana’s audiobooks and podcast, A Slob Comes Clean, will love Dana’s in-depth conversation filled with workable solutions for you to make your space the peaceful, organized home you need and want.

I felt like she understood what I went through when I tried to do huge cleaning sessions. I’m now beginning to accept the slow and steady pace of cleaning and decluttering.

Very helpful

progress is made one item at a time. a great reminder that even though doing one task at a time (and completing it) may not feel like you are making progress, it is. you don't get the immediate wow factor. you do get to the finish line without overwhelming yourself.

slow and steady wins the race!

Through buying and listening and reading all Dana’s books, it’s taking me almost a year to really declutter! I have to study and listen to these super wonderful narratives and funny experiences to gain the knowledge of how to cope with “the chronic mess”. I read Marie Kondo and tried to fold my socks to look like a library. What is wrong with miss toy Kondo? Dana speaks to me and I’m beginning to “get it” at last.

I Think I’ve Purchased All Dana’s Books!!!

I literally think she’s talking directly to me because this is the only author who has actually put me into motion! I AM THE TORTOISE!

She speaks in a way that makes sense!

I have all three of Dana’s book, and have enjoyed them and use her method of “taking it there now”.
Her newest example of the tortoise and the hare is great, and again, rings true.
If you are open to a different and yet highly effective way to declutter and stay that way, this latest is a must.

Dana’s process works!

I found some valuable nuggets to help me finish my simplifying and decluttering projects of which I have several.

It was a short listen as I was limited on time.
