Needs something

character dislikable, She comes off as a pushy, nosey body, instead of a serious sleuth. She's more like the neighbor that wants to know everything about what's going on in your house.

Great Read

Cozy Creek 10-Book Cozy Mystery Set was a great read by K.M. Morgan, Kayla Michelle, and Bridget Bowman. This set consists of; Deadly Resentment; Killer Finale; Murder and Salt Water Taffy; Death, Divorce, and Dessert; Novel to Die for; The Deadly Political Affair; The Deadly Dinner Theater Affair; The Deadly Floral Affair; The Deadly Judicial Affair; and The Deadly Fiery Affair. Deadly Resentment was another great read by Kayla Michelle. There is another murder on Cape Cod and Chloe Cook is looking into who the killer is. There are many suspects including one of Chloe's good friends. Chloe must find out who the killer is in order to clear her friends name. Killer Finale was a great read by Kayla Michelle. Chloe is questioned for the murder of a comedy club owner. Her best friend is suspected of being the murderer. I enjoyed reading how Chloe would try to clear her best friends name. Murder and Salt Water Taffy was a great read by Kayla Michelle. Chloe Cook gets shaken to the core when another murder happens in Cape Cod. Unfortunately, one of her friends is arrested for the murder. She believes the cops are wrong and does her own investigation. Death, Divorce, and Dessert was another great read by Kayla Michelle and K.M. Morgan. Chloe Cook is a makeup sales woman who doesn't expect her normal day at work turn out deadly. She shows up at a client's house for their appointment when she finds out her dear friend is murdered. She does what she can to find the killer. A Novel to Die For (Deanna Devlin, Desert Detective Cozy Mystery #2) was a great read by Bridget Bowman. Deanna is a newspaper reporter who was just promoted to covering serious stories. Unfortunately, her next assignment covers one of her friends that is accused of murdering a book store owner. She needs to find the killer so her friend could be set free. Daisy McDare and The Deadly Political Affair (Daisy McDare #10) was a great read by K.M. Morgan. This was a good read of Daisy investigating the death of a politician in town. The Deadly Dinner Theater Affair was a great read by K.M. Morgan. Daisy finds herself at a murder-mystery dinner theater and is petrified that a real-life death will occur at the show. The Deadly Floral Affair was another great read by K.M. Morgan. It is finally Daisy's wedding day but trouble is arising in Cozy Creek. Daisy just wants to enjoy her wedding day and honeymoon but a disaster threatens to derail her plans. The Deadly Judicial Affair was a great read by K.M. Morgan. There is a murder trial happening in Cozy Creek and Daisy is having a hard time focusing on her decorating work. During the trial, Daisy finds out that her friends’ husband may be cheating on her. Daisy does some sleuthing to find out what happened. The Deadly Fiery Affair was a great read by K.M. Morgan. Daisy is hopeful that the drama will cool down in her hometown of Cozy Creek. Unfortunately, Daisy finds herself in the midst of investigating another murder case. Daisy is looking to uncover who the murderer is although they are trying to cover up the murder. I can’t wait to read more by K.M. Morgan.

Regurgitation

These are sooooo repetitive so glad it was free and I didn’t have to waste a credit on it nor spend money. The absolute lack of imagination

Couldn’t finish series

I link to binge listen to series on long trips. I thought this 12 hour murder mystery series would be a decent listen. I was wrong. The AI voice is annoying, but I could suffer through that. What I could not tolerate was the fact that the story plot was basically the same and many of the lines were identical from story one to story two. When I found myself not guessing but acutely saying the line before the character could utter it, the mystery was gone. No point to continue listening to this series.
