I enjoyed the story very much. I didn’t care much for the narration. I thought that the narrator had a problem doing a different voices especially a man voice. The storyline was good.

Enjoyable

Crazy in Paradise is an entertaining cozy mystery with engaging characters and an entertaining plot. I look forward to the next book.

Didn’t like the high school locker room sex in the beginning, the reader did the main character voice pretty good but was terrible with all the other characters voices. Okay mystery plot but very transparent. Going to give the second book a chance to improve.

Okay got a first book, just okay, not great

I tried for an hour to get past the stilted, boring narration, but had to give up. The plot never really developed in the hour or so that I made myself listen. I didn’t read anything in the reviews that stated there was so much dialog devoted to sexual scenes. However, what was so horrible was the switch to slow and low narration for any male character that spoke. How this novel received 4.4 stars by 6,688 people is totally beyond my comprehension! Who are these people that thought so highly of this completely moronic debut novel? Maybe they didn’t rate the audio version. I was so looking forward to a series set in the Keys as I’ve been there so often. I thought GREAT, 28 books in the series! Goodreads had high recommendations, too! So disappointed in the hour plus I wasted on the first book. In addition, I purchased the audio version for almost $10.00! Have submitted for a refund. I simply could not stand the unnecessary sex or the grade school type narration.

Worst narration EVER! Returning!

The voices were cheesy, and I had a hard time listening. I was very disappointed. It may have been an OK book if the narrator was better.

The narration was horrible.

Reader’s voice for characters was distracting and ruined the story for me. I was hoping for a new series of books, but cannot.

The reader’s voice for characters was nauseating
