If you can't clear your schedule to binge read the series, let Olivia King read them to you. Elle Madison and Robin D Mahle are my new favorite authors, and this is my favorite of all their books. Captivating storytelling and so much laughter! Olivia King gives a superb performance. All the characters are distinctive. All the emotions shine through. You'll laugh and cry with Rowan and her family as she chooses between her two beaus! You'll want to listen to this one again and again.

My gosh, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this series and this ending was TOO. DIE. FOR! The narration is as always spot on! Here is my original review of this book.

Man Robin and Elle never fail to disappoint and are quickly becoming some of my auto-buy authors.
The Crimson Kingdom starts up shortly after the events of the previous book.
Our poor Rowen and her family are dealing with a lot emotionally and by rote this book feels much heavier in tone than any of the other Lochlann books. But don't take that as a bad thing! We all know that Robin and Elle can make us laugh and swoon but this book had me in tears not once but twice! And I VERY rarely cry when I read. One of those times was for a secondary character who we don't even meet...I cried over a character that was only mentioned. Wow!
That's powerful writing.

Anywho, like I said this book had all of the emotions for me. I laughed, cried, I screamed, and almost threw my book when a certain loveable aalio was being his aalio self.
I really can not recommend this series enough and I'm eternally grateful I only need to wait two weeks but the conclusion in book 4.
Oh side note, this book was a super quick read. I think I finished it in 4 hours or so.

This is book 3 in a fantasy romance series that has it all - romance, humor and action but this installment of the story is by far the most romantic of the 4. It is such a journey and the narrator does a great job of conveying all these emotions. I also think she does a great job with male/female voicing and mixed accents. I love this story but I really enjoyed experiencing it in this medium as well.

This book was amazing! I laughed, I cried! I loved it! Rowan seems to get herself in to a pickle and sticks her foot in her mouth every time she turns around. But now an alliance with her kingdom’s enemies is resting on her shoulders. I could read this series over and over again, I enjoy this characters so much! And I love this narrators voice! She does such a good job bringing these characters to life!

oh my stars. this is one of my favorites in this series. Ro is the kind of FMC you want to invest in. to feel her struggle and go through making the hard choices. to have to choose bwtween Evander and Theo!! to see her connection to them and especially her family. you will be absolutely sucked into this world.

Lemmeke. man to hear Evanders version of what that word meant to him all this time. swoon. to hear him tell Rowan all the things she has always needed to hear! who am i kidding... what we needed to hear him say! To look back and see how seamlessly they went together. it's what book boyfriend dreams are made of!
ugg and the absolute tears that fell during the memorial. Olivia narrarated that part to absolute perfection.
Evander will forever be cemented as my forever book boyfriend. he is everything a MMC should be. I have reread this series so many times but I just love hearing it read aloud. it adds so much to the details already swimming around in my head! can not wait for the next installment.

I had been impatiently waiting for this book after listening to the first 2 books in the series. I love this book and hearing the story brought to life with the spot on Lochlann and Socair accents just makes it that much better! The growth of Rowan after all she's gone through along with the blossoming romance I just can't recommend this series more!!!
