Publisher's summary

Rachel Morgan must go on a deadly journey—into the past—in the next thrilling Hollows novel in the #1 New York Times bestselling series.

What’s a witch to do when the coven of moral and ethical standards demands she untwist a curse—but an essential spell component no longer exists? There’s only one choice: go back in time.

Caught between self-exile and an Alcatraz cell, Rachel must find an Atlantean mirror to reverse the curse and prove to Cincinnati’s brand-new witch coven that, no, she does not practice illicit magic. Unfortunately, the only mirror of its kind in existence belonged to the insane demon Newt, forcing Rachel to go to the past to bargain with her for it.

But the time-travel spell goes awry, dragging Elyse, the young leader of the coven, into the past with Rachel. They expect to land five years in the past but instead arrive two days before Rachel’s long-lost love, Kisten, dies. Heartbroken and torn, Rachel knows she can't change the past.

Even with no allies, Rachel still has one thing going for her: Cincinnati is her city, now and forever. If she can find a way to work with Newt and prevent Elyse from becoming the demon’s next familiar, they might all get home.

When is the next one? I can’t wait!

I laughed, I cried. This installment was worth the wait. Rachel was her usual self making people love her even when they want to hate her. I missed some of our friends being part of the main action but on the other hand it was great to spend time with Rach and get some old questions answered. Very satisfying book to read. Keep them coming, Ms. Harrison!!

Rachel’s adventures are great!

Always enjoy following Rachel and the crew. All the things that get thrown in her way to overcome and teaching along the way.

Fantastic as always <3

"Fart Cake" really says it all but to meet the 15 word minimum, I'll also say I loved every minute of it!!

Loved Loved Loved

Rachel finally seems to have her head on straight, if a little too straight. The amount of times I wished she would slap Elyse were too many. And omggggg that ending!! The last couple of books made me worry for this series but I’m glad Harrison seemed to work out the kinks.

One thing I wish we could get is a polycule between Rachel, Trent, and Kistan. This pining crap is annoying as hell when they’re not going to get together and Kistan is really back.

Possibly the best of the series!

I always love these stories with the mysteries, the challenges facing the unkown, relatable misteps, nail-biting tension, and Rachel's incredible resolve to make things right in the right way despite the overwhelming odds sometimes.
There were excellent twists in this book I couldn't have guessed and I think an extra depth of emotion added to a fantastic plot! And I give the author kudos for the intellectual depth put into everything to make the world fit everything together.

I completely loved this book and I hope they keep on coming! - Kiss Kiss!

Same old Rachel!!!

This is one of the better books. Well, I can’t say that because I love all of them. However, it would be nice if Rachel is a little bit smarter in the next book and not so trusting of people that she know are going to hurt her eventually! Great turn of events at the end, can’t wait for the next one I know it’s gonna be good!!!!😊

yes

I really enjoyed this one. I'm very glad this story is still going. this had to be my all time favorite series because I love how Kim Harrison writes her characters and the fact that we get to watch and experience them grow. also it was really good to see Newt back lol that crazy demon was always one of my favorites. I never get tired of experiencing the Rollercoaster ride of Rachel's life though lol.

Best worst

I love this series and this was, I think, the best worst of the lot. There’s a lot there that I really liked, but the main thrust of the story was not what I was hoping for. Even so, I’m looking forward to where things go from here.
