Mind blown!
What a well-written book! It is packed with a wealth of information that is frankly eye-opening for me. Depression shows up on many forms and this author reveals a trove of ways depression may show up in ones life. Manzo also touches on some misconception surrounding certain treatments. This book was easy to follow, clear, and extremely beneficial for me. I highly recommend this book for people who struggle with or know someone who is struggling from depression. Information is wealth when it comes to health.

Relevant
There is more than one way to skin a cat, and that definitely applies when dealing with depression. It’s easy to assume the only option one has is popping pills, and media and the industry do a great job of making it seem that way. However, there are many effective options and alternatives and I’m glad someone wrote this book to bring them to the light. There is no worse feeling than trying an option that doesn’t work and thinking or feeling like there is no hope, and depression breeds on lack of hope. What I liked about this book is that the author is has a degree in psychology and experience with depression that spans 20+ years. Definite must if you’ve been struggling with depression with little to no solution.

Informative and supportive!
I was very impressed by the detailed information offered by the author. Understanding that she has had personal experience in dealing with depression somehow make the guidance feel more hopeful. Who knew that so many treatment options were available, many with abundant recorded success? The coping and healing strategies discussed here are very helpful for those who don’t necessarily want to depend on medications. This doesn’t have to be forever
Manzo delivers the goods pertaining to depression-crushing strategies that work. Her 20 years of experience show us that locking into the paradigm of an author that really knows the ins and outs of mental health makes for a far more efficient and effective experience when diving into the self-help niche.
There were so many cognitive behavioral therapy techniques outlined here that I had not encountered before. Many of them, a powerful punch right to the heart of depression.
Herbal supplements and remedies are covered, along with actual practices one can start today.
If you are depressed, then don’t wait any longer. Take action and learn from those that are skilled in this department, like Manzo.
A fantastic addition to anyone’s collection who is looking to raise their inner emotional state.
