About this listen

It seems like a solid plan…

  • Get hitched, Vegas-style.
  • Lose each other’s numbers, permanently.
  • Avoid pitfalls of real marriage forever.

Until I sober up, and my wife is already gone.

It’s what we agreed to. But I don’t like it.

A year later, I find her. I have another solid plan to undo our mistake.

Only now, I’m not so sure the cocktail napkin with our prenup can protect me from the one thing I swore I wouldn’t do…fall in love.

Liam and Stormy

A sassy, fun, entertaining and sinfully delicious romance. Liam and Stormy have one wild night that leads them to an agreement that neither of them knew where it would take them. They both get more then they expected but definitely deserve. I enjoyed going on t his journey with them.

Fun storyline, but cringey voices

I enjoy this series in general and I’ve gotten used to the voice acting, but in this book the male reading the female parts was so jarring. At first I thought it was a mistake or a joke, I liked the male reading the male parts and the female reader was good however it was very hard to enjoy the story anytime the male read the female parts.

Good Story

I enjoyed this story but the male take on a female voice is way less than desirable to listen to. Savannah is always great!

Great Listen But a Couple of Minor Things

**a couple of spoilers below.
Let me say that I’m a huge fan of Mira Lyn Kelly’s slayer’s series, but I did have a couple of issues that, to me, took away some stars. I absolutely loved the characters (of course with the exception of Ray and Jess). Even the supporting characters were great, but I got a little confused with some of the details. Where were they when he chased her a year later, and what was going on with the sister and friend at that meeting? If it had not been explained later that his situation with Jess was right before he met Stormy, I would have thought it happened after they initially met in Vegas or happened twice. A few places just felt like info was missing. Also, this is a personal preference thing; but as much as I do enjoy the fake marriage story, I’m not a fan of the miscommunication twist when they just don’t want to admit they’re in love out of fear of losing the one they love. I don’t know if it’s just my age, but really? Are you better off not telling your feelings and losing your love, or taking a chance on telling them you love them and hopefully they love you too? That’s unnecessary angst to me. Finally, I am a massive Savanah Peachwood fan! This was my first Wayne Mitchell experience (that I’m aware of). Although he has a fantastic male voice and great expression, his female voice is cringy.

Need REAL relationship

This story was supposed to be fake. The story was going well until it wasn’t. So tired of the main characters slept together over and over but NEVER confessed their true love. It seems to be most writers theme today’s writing. Let’s have sex first then we can talk when this story end that is. I’m a true romance listener but I’m beginning to doubt my choices. If you like story that sleep together with no communication but end up together, this one is for you!

Good Story

I liked the story. It was sweet but not my favorite of the series. The male actor’s voice was hard for me to listen to. Most of the time it was something I could ignore, but a couple times it was cringe worthy. Might be better to read this one instead.

Good story

Males voice was hard to listen to when he spoke as the female. Almost sounded like a child

Female voice by the male is horrible!

Stormy is so whiny and the female voice by the male is horrible. Story could be good but the female is ridiculous. There is no way a female would act this way. She almost acts like a toddler that runs when she doesn’t get her way in the beginning.

Male Narrator should not do females voice!!

Wasn't one of my favorites of the series and the female voice the male does is awful, but still not bad!
