Publisher's summary

Eight year old Maddie Kittrell's Daddy and Mommy love her. She has besties she is tight with. Life is perfect for Maddie...except for that secret she's carrying.

If she reveals it, Daddy will get hurt. If she doesn't, Mommy will.

Dividing Zero, the scorching new thriller featuring Beth and Meghan Petersen. They are kickass. They are smart. They are twins.

Beth and Meghan Petersen, twins, work in a deep black US agency, on missions that never come to light. They are used to the shadowy world of counter-terrorism and have put their lives on the line. Several times.

They take on their most unusual mission when they are recruited by eight-year-old Maddie Kittrell, who's hiding a secret that can tear her family apart.

However, before they even start their investigation, they are attacked viciously and are left with a burning question that's even larger than Maddie's secret.

Whom do they trust?

Maddie Kittrell? Her Daddy? Her Mommy?

Or none of them?

Dividing Zero is the first in The Gemini Series, a new action adventure crime series of thrillers featuring Beth and Meghan Petersen.

Keep the title -- it fits.

Another winner by Ty Patterson. A complex kidnapping story with the Twins. Beth feels a closeness to the child and swears to find her. The case has the twists and turns expected from A Patterson book. I enjoy the team stepping in. I especially enjoyed their chauffeur. A solid recommend.

Searching for Maddie

Ty Patterson has written another good book involving characters from his Warrior Series. The Gemini Series picks up right where the Warriors series left off. This time it involves the twins, Beth and Meghan. When 8 year old Maddie Kittrell comes to Megan and Beth asking for help because Daddy beats Mommy, they end up in way more trouble than they bargained for.

Patterson was again able to draw the reader/listener into the story without giving up to much information until he is ready for you to know. He is able to draw you into the story to such an extent you don't want to put it down until you know what comes next, and next. I have read a lot of books in the mystery/thriller genre and these may be some of the best around.

I listened to the Audible version of Dividing Zero, and while I really enjoyed the story, I could only give the performance 3 stars. The narrator did an okay job, however the voice faded in and out during the entire book. This could have been a technical error, but I could not determine the cause. I would still recommend Dividing Zero if you enjoy a good mystery book.

Terrible narration

I couldn’t even listen to this her narration is so terrible. Half the voices sound like little tiny weak girls, the men’s voices even worse, guttural, mentally deficient sounding.
