Dead Air is a good listen.

David Tennant does a great job with the different voices, as always. Really spooky story.

I always like listening to a DR. Who story..their just stories to enjoy for any time pick a Dr. find a story, listen, enjoy and have fun.. some are just thought provoking

Have you listened to any of David Tennant’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

He read How to train Your Dragon years ago and enjoyed listening to him as a narrator then and still.. do enjoy him doing himself as 10th Dr.better than the other Dr.'s

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes need a quick Dr. Who fix...short and simple

David Tennant is the BEST doctor...on tv or audio!

If you could sum up Doctor Who in three words, what would they be?

Perfection. Engrossing. Funny.

What did you like best about this story?

It was wonderful hearing David Tennant narrate a Doctor Who story. He was by far and away my favorite doctor and I felt like I was "watching" a missing episode from the Tennant years. I wanted to snatch up all the Doctor Who stories narrated by David Tennant just so I could have another marathon-esque experience. :)

Which character – as performed by David Tennant – was your favorite?

The Doctor of course!

Allons-y!

Creative presentation, reading was great and the story, while superficial, satisfied. A bit on the predictable side, but solid Doctor Who fare!

Vague Monster and neat frame device

Would you try another book from James Goss and/or David Tennant?

I love David Tennant's reading, and I read this story because I enjoyed one of his other works.

What do you think your next listen will be?

I'm trying to find new authors to follow in speculative fiction.

Which scene was your favorite?

I enjoyed the David Tennant in stereo at the ending.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Really, this would lose all the charm it has in a visual medium.

Any additional comments?

The monster just doesn't work. It's too hazy and generalized to have cohesive internal logic.

Pretty Good

I quite enjoyed the story and having David Tennant narrate and switch to his "doctor" voice was a treat. All in all I enjoyed it and the only thing that brings my review down is its length when compared to other audio books and the somewhat predictable or cheesy elements in the story.

best for audio novella

it's clear this was written for an audio first format and it pays off so well. it uses the medium so effectively and I love it.

Only one problem

It is not in the slitest long enough. It's way way way way too short.
