Plaintive “oldish” voices

Characters are supposed to be single somewhere between young and middle aged dragons. However, the voices felt like they were “older”, lamenting, and feeble.

Such a fun fantastic read ♥️♥️⚔️🗡️

Once again G. A. Aiken has created a fantastic action , adventure high fantasy romantic adventure. Filled with humor that will leaving you laughing out loud over and over again. Bram the Merciful and Gleanna of the Cadwallerter clan are on a serious mission to negotiate a treaty between the dark plains dragons and the Sand dragons of the East. Nothing goes right and danger and fighting follow this couple everywhere but it’s the dangerous situation that finally opens both dragons 🐉 eyes to what and who is really important and if they can defeat their enemies they can focus on each other and the true love that has blossomed between a Royal politician and a soldier. Justine E. Does an amazing job with the narrations and her accent is wonderful. It really brings the characters to life. Highly recommend ♥️♥️🔥♥️♥️🔥♥️⚔️⚔️🔥⚔️

Very nice novella

Unfortunately as in most of the other narrators the pronunciation of various characters names is different. In addition this one uses upper and lower class UK accents. I liked the idea of it but it wasn’t in keeping with the other books.
The Story was just as wonderful as the rest of the series!

Narrator butchered character names

For whatever reason, Eyre departed from every other narrator who has voiced Aiken's books in pronouncing character names (calls FMC Gleanna "YANna" and Queen Rhiannon "RHEE-anon". She also gave everyone various English accents, which weren't awful, but again is a total departure from every other audio book in the series. If you are a fan of the series the style choices are kind if jarring.
