Lots of laughs

Two good stories. The first one gave the background to the start of one of the families. Shelley Laurenston writes a good book, her characters are full of action and fun !
Cynthia Eden never fails to entertain! I have never been disappointed in one of her books.

Eggy is lovely

I just liked getting to hear about how these two started. They are pretty amazing and I was such a fan of the pair I’m happy we got a look at them.

I’d never read the other author before and I really liked the intro and plan to go look for a few more. Great reads.

Shelley Laurenston writes a good story

Eggie and Darla are two of my favourite characters. Really enjoyed their story. This series makes me smile and at times laugh out loud while reading. Great dialogue and characters.

Finally!

I have been waiting for this book to be released in audiobook format. I just love Dee Ann's parents in Big Bad Beast. We have heard about Darla Mae and Eggie Ray and they just seemed like the best couple. I was super pumped for this book. I was not disappointed in the least. The thing that surprised me the most was that Darla Mae was the one that had to chase Eggie in order for them to be together. I am also surprised how intense Darla Mae reacted to anyone who tried to bad talk Eggie. She was not playing about her feelings when it came to him.

We did see Ric and Dee Ann in the book however they did not have the same personality that I love in their book. That is the only thing that was annoying for me. I had them in my head and then it was ruined. This is a story that I will listen to over and over again because it is Eggie and Darla!!

Pretty good but...

The first story was absolutely hilarious and very well written. I loved the characters and the narrator was amazing! The second story was pretty good, but there were several times when the heroine was TSTL (too stupid to live), which is unusual for a Cynthia Eden story. Almost didn't finish it, but pushed through anyway, mostly because the narrator carried that story like a champ.

Second book was meh.

I enjoyed the first book much more than the second. The second book seemed to drag.

I really love Shelly Laurenston

Eggie & Darla is my favorite pairing of this series... and the glimpse of Ulrich & Dee-Ann coming home to visit her parents is a nice treat.

first story yes second not do much. just ....

I love the first story but not some much the second one I feel like the really didn't put to much thought into it. ( spoiler ) OK I get that she will do anything to save her brother , especially when they went through so much when they was young but come on how many times is someone going to say "hey I'm not lying he's the bad guy" and your own brother won't believe you and how many times is a female going to risk her life for her brother to trust her over the bad guy like come on if it was me by like the third time I would have smack him upside his head! and be like WTF MAN! Im just saying anyways that's why I just couldn't like the second story sorry . but besides that like first story was better.
