Miranda Puckett has failed at every job she’s ever had. Her mother just wants her to come home, join the family law firm, and settle down with Jason, the perfect lawyer boyfriend. But when Jason turns out to be a lying cheater, Miranda seizes on a job that gets her out of town: long-distance vampire transportation.
Her first assignment is to drive vampire Collin Sutherland from Washington to sleepy Half Moon Hollow without incident—no small feat for a woman whom trouble seems to follow like a faithful hound dog! And she has to do it without letting her passenger—the most persnickety, stuffy, devastatingly handsome vamp she’s ever met—drive her crazy. As she and Collin find disaster on the roads, they also find an undeniable spark between them. Could Miranda have found the perfect job and the perfect guy for her?

And just to be safe, hit pause before you take a big swig of diet soda. Trust me on this.
I've read everything Molly Harper, she's one of only two authors I watch release dates for. I don't know how she manages to keep the humor going non-stop, or to come up with situations like, well, I'm not going to spoil it for you, just read it.
The narrator is perfect. If I could give this book more stars, I would. Fantastic!
Hilarious!

What made the experience of listening to Driving Mr. Dead the most enjoyable?
This author was witty and fun and kept me laughing though out the bookWhat did you like best about this story?
I could really relate to the main character. Her series of mishaps kept me on my toes.Have you listened to any of Amanda Ronconi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes I have, she is a wonderful narrator! I felt she was really engaged in the storyline.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Yes it made me laugh out loud quite a few times actually. ^_^ I had so much fun listening to it at work my coworkers asked me what I was listening to. I think i may have won one or two over to audible as well.Any additional comments?
I don't write many reviews... well actually this is my first. I hope that anyone reading it will not be too critical but I had to write something here because I was genuinely surprised to like this book as much as I did. I've listened to it twice now and have only had it for 72 hrs (once at work and two days in the car with my carpool buddies).A Wonderfully Fun Journey! It kept me Laughing

So, Miranda finds herself a typical 20 something without a real plan or a goal in sight…her fiancé was actually cheating on her and her parents have her whole life mapped out, and she just needs time to think…what better way to escape than to sign up to drive a vampire cross country! This book is written in modern day, but in this world people know there are vampires. There is no mystical world to catch up on, it’s just that vampires live among us and sometimes they need human drivers who can drive during the day time.
The words “bad day” don’t really cover the catastrophes that eventually ensue during this trip and I don’t want to mention any because having them all happen one after another was the utter charm of the story…and I could see myself reacting the same way as the main character…which made it priceless!
Loved the story, wished there were another 10 hours of it, and have already downloaded other Molly Harper books because it’s been a while since I have laughed like that.
So funny, so well written, LOVED IT!
