About this listen

Endless Flight continues the epic saga of Benjamin Ashwood. As Ben flees from powerful forces, the course of political alliances and a war hinge on information he and a friend possess. To save that friend's family, and countless other lives, they must stay one step ahead of danger and warn others.

Along the way, Ben finds new allies, but also learns of a deadly threat to all humanity. Only Ben and his companions have the skill, knowledge, and courage to defeat the threat.

A journey into uncharted territory uncovers important information and sets the stage for an epic battle between mankind and evil. Facing an enemy that shows no mercy, Ben will have to stand side by side with his companions to protect what they can.

Wow

This series has me not wanting to leave the books to eat or sleep. Characters have come to life, action at every turn. Heading on to book 3 now. This is a 4 book series and I with there was more. What to read next that will compare with this series. I recommend these books to people who love adventure, heroes, and love stories, magic.

amazing second book of a wonderful series!!

I just started listening to audio books and this one made me want to listen to many more! The reader was really good at giving the characters their own unique voice. The story left me wishing the next book was already out!! Definitely read or listen to the first book before this one so you know what's going on!!

the second in a fun series and a good performance

the author continues with a great plot making it an interesting story in the tradition of Robert Jordan and JRR Tolkien... the performance was well done... if you haven't read this series you'll enjoy it start with number one it continues in this book with a lot of interesting commentary that you could relate to current politics and the concept of ruling class power....

Story is getting better

The story is a lot better than the first book. I am going in for the tired book now. The fight scenes and metaphors could still use some work. This series is definitely becoming worthy of the title epic though.

Solid frame...

Endless flight was a perfect name for this book, lol. Hopefully, the next book is called journeys' end, as the world is interesting and promising. I'd like a deeper level of exploration about the world. This series has one of the most most interesting magical systems.

Good follow up.

This book is a solid followup to the first. As was in the first volume, the character development was a bit weak. Ben remain annoyingly noble, he does not have any outbreaks of anger, selfishness or bad temper, and his motives are always pure.

The same with the other characters.

The writing is pretty good, but somewhat repetitive. I got very tired of the phrase "mage wrought steel."

But the plotting and pacing are good and I am eager to finish the series.
