About this listen

As a prominent divorce attorney and Manhattan’s most eligible bachelor, I’m as sought after in the courtroom as I am in the bedroom. I’ve learned that emotions have no place in either scenario. Not ever.

Thus far, my approach to life has served me well.

No hassles or strings means no heartache.

There’s just one little problem....

My new roommate happens to be the only woman who could change my views. Her laughter is a siren calling to me. Jealousy fills my chest when other guys give her attention, and disappointment sinks in when her smile isn’t directed at me.

None of that matters, though, because we’re just friends.

But if we’re only friends, why am I suddenly feeling the urge to tell her what I never did when we first met?

Head over Feels is an emotion-filled friends-to-lovers, contemporary romance.

A fun, sweet, emotional and heart warming story!

Head Over Feels, is signature SL Scott. A fun, sweet, emotional and heart warming story. I loved Tealy and Rad. They had an amazing friendship and an even deeper connection romantically. There story sucked me in immediately. Rad is a sweetheart. He will do anything for his friends, including sacrificing his heart. Tealy is a smart and quirky. She has a subtle beauty to her, she never saw it herself but Rad always did and wasn't afraid to show that to her. I love their their deep conversations and witty banter. The intimacy between then was intensely beautiful. There was a lot going on in this story. Some drama, and angst and I was invested and routing for their HEA from beginning to end. Tealy is a social worker, and Rad is a lawyer. Rad has sacrificed his personal life to become a top attorney and now that he is opening his heart up to a relationship with Tealy he is reassessing his original career goals. Tealy's big heart serves her well in her profession. I loved the progression and pacing of this story. SL Scott really knows how to create the most wonderful, dynamic characters. I listened to the audiobook narrated by Stephen Dexter and Callie Dalton. These narrators, are fun and entertaining to listen to. Their voices are engaging and emotional, and did a fabulous job bringing these characters and story to life.

Doing a favor for a friend

I really enjoyed this audio!!! I would absolutely recommend it!

This is a wonderful friend's 2 lovers slowburn romance! I loved both the main characters Rad and Tealy. I love how they finally realized they both had feelings for one another, but also worried about the dynamic of their friend group. I did not really care for their friend Marlowe though!

Rad is a divorce attorney trying to make partner and also Manhattan's most eligible bachelor.

Tealy Is struggling to make ends meet and needs a place to go as she can't make her rent… What would make a better solution than for him to offer her his guest bedroom???????

I mean… what could go wrong with that idea? Lol

What a love story, get ready for a magical journey

Tealey and Rad become friends in co!lege. Rad is
a successful New York Lawyer. Tealey works
to help families have a better life. They have fought
their attraction for years. I haven't read or listened
to a S.L. Scott that her writing doesn't captivate you
from page 1. No one can write a love story like her!

Those underlying feels

I was offered the chance to listen to this audio for an honest review. I'd had my eye on SL Scott as friends had listened to some of her work, but I'd just never gotten around the pulling the trigger.

I enjoyed this friends to lovers story of Radcliffe (Rad) and Tealey; friends since college who both went into wildly different professional fields but have this eclectic friend group that really keep the story going. Add a little forced proximity when Tealey find herself losing her apartment in Brooklyn and the underlying feelings between Mahattan's Most Eligible Bachelor and the social worker who has lusted after him for almost a decade can't be hidden for long.

I enjoyed Callie Dalton's performance as Tealey and while I normally love Stephen Dexter, I just personally couldn't get into his role as Rad for some reason. Overall a cute story that makes me want to read the auxiliary cast of character's stories.

Friends to lovers story

Head Over Feels by SL Scott is a friends to lovers story that will leave you swoony and wanting more from these characters.
Tealey and Rad have been friends for awhile, always secretly crushing but never acting on it. When Tealey needs a place to stay, Rad offers for her to stay with him. The two get closer, but when Rad needs to be in a pretend relationship for business, will he risk his brand new one with Tealey?
There is some angst thrown in, and some will they or won’t they make it leaving you glued to the story. I listened to the audio and thought the narrators did a good job bringing the characters to life. Head Over Feels will leave you happy for this wonderful HEA!

The voices

I’ve loved a lot of books from this author but the story line is a little drab. Also, the girls voices reading the story are beyond annoying and it is painful to listen to.

Too drawn out

This story actually began to bore me. It was just too drawn out for me.
Just my opinion.

Pissed me off

This book pissed me off. He screwed up and treated her like a dirty secret and he forgave him in one chapter. This part should have lasted longer than the 3 hours I spent listening to them going back and forth. The end was so anti climatic it made the whole story boring.
