About this listen

Eric Grayson was just a welder by day and fantasy junky by night. His free days were spent camping in the woods and reading. When he falls through a crack in the foundation of reality his life is going to get a lot more interesting. Making his way through the sea of chaos, he finds himself, with a little help from a Goddess, in a new universe, on a new planet. Eric must discover the answer to a question. How to change the mind of an empire?

The exalted mage lords of the Empire have ruled for over two thousand years. Keeping the Empire safe from tribes of filthy savage beast kin and the void monsters that breach reality and are hungry to consume. Forduna is a world on the edge of the great universal tree, a bastion against the ever-encroaching void and the tendrils of the abyss that ever reach for a foothold in any reality. The dungeon Legion holds fast to the accords set forth in the days of old while it still has the strength to do so. The touch of the Gods and Goddesses is faint and growing weaker.

This is an Isekai LitRpg fantasy.

Yeah this is definitely dark fantasy gamelit. but it's really good, the story it's really spicy with a lot politics introduced a bit later on. honestly can't wait for the next one but it's been close to a year since book 1 came out so hopefully book 3 won't take long to release

Awesome

This is a spicy novel with an interesting story. At first it sounded like another story I'd read in the past, but about a third of the way through started diverging into a tale I really enjoyed. I'm looking forward to a second volume.

I enjoyed the story more than I thought I would

This is a fun, long, and complex story that grows and grows chapter by chapter. pacing is normal to fast, and the characters feel real and immersive. slavery is dark part of the story but the mc is calculating how to change it... he takes a reasonable approach not starting some crazy war that would kill more of the slaves than is would help.

there is a few dialogue missing parts, but the error is being corrected and it's only a small part.

Great story and can't wait for book 2

I love me an OP MC and this book does it extremely well. I throughly enjoyed this and can’t wait for the next.

Fantastic!

Overpowered main character to the extreme very spicy and quite dark theme and plot, main character pretends to have scruples but has none. if easily offended this author is not for you, otherwise would strongly recommend.

Fun New Story

The story was written well, but the female voice was absent from a few of the chapters, which made it confusing at times. It might have to be redone with the proper female voice is.

Good story but issues with audio in places

Checked all the boxes, looking forward to the next book in the series. Hope it’s even better than this one.

But I’m pretty sure there are missing audio and conversations in the story. It introduced characters into the conversation but there was no audio to go with it

It was a great story

This story has made me more Angry thin any other story I have ever read. And I would have stopped reading it if it wasn't actually a good story.

rage bate but a good story

author did a good balance of a society where there's normalized debauchery, casual racism, and the overbearing government is normal. it isn't filled with cruelty, but it is there, some overwhelmingly cruel while others a more casual or backhanded. the progressives are progressive for that society.

The balancing of it was impressive.

the MC also made pretty good decisions, He was well portrayed. The balance of going along with society as to not being seen as a problem to be fixed, while having modern morals and wanting to change things but understanding his own lack of power and that violence would probably hurt more people he wants to protect than enemies. He treated those under him fairly while balancing what society expects, what those under him expect, and how he wants them to be treated.

I was shocked by how little I had to extend my suspension of disbelief, and how little I felt decisions were made simply so the story could continue or progress in a way the author wanted.

I hope there will be a book 2.

actually quite good
