About this listen

Aliens, megalomaniacs, and power-mad mages, Amelia should be so lucky.

Luke is gone, stolen by the mysterious red gem. With no way to track him, she must stand up to the other threats she faces. Someone out there has her tech, and they used it to outfit a group of cold-blooded mercs that tried to kill her. Then there's Tempus. A new threat which appears to be able to travel through time. Amelia won't go down easy, however. The Full Metal Superhero always has a trick up her sleeve. Is this one threat too many for our armored heroine?

How has no one found this series?!

This is book 6 of 9. It continues to entertain without getting stale. Amelia Lockhart sees new villains and old ones. Time travel is involved and handled VERY well. New heroes show up. It’s a good, short read.
It’s fun all around. She flies through space. She makes new suits for practical reasons. I really like the way the author goes at this character and this world. There’s a huge diversity with the characters’ backgrounds, abilities, and ethnicities. Through that, you see that people are just people, superpowers or not, and no one is perfect. And that actions have repercussions.
If you’re an Iron Man fan, this is your new favorite storyline. Enjoy and you’re welcome.
I highly recommend this series. I listened with whisper-sync through Kindle and the narration is really terrific. She reads this like it’s her own story. I’ve listened to them all and this is her best job yet.

Definitely better than Iron Man!

My FAVORITE superhero series with maybe one or two that might come close…
I love the characters of this series! Both the good and the bad. The main and minor ones. The abilities are diverse and fun. I also like how Amelia uses knowledge, technology and strategy to handle each new challenge or the abilities. The technology progression is also one of my favorites!
I love her “Arsenal” of suits and their versatility. So much fun.
We also get the flavor of time travel and I really like how Haskell wrote it. The rules and limitations.
The multiple main “bad guys” were entertaining. And some of their purposes or motives made it hard to completely hate them. Haskell is practically a poet with the challenges to morality and ethics for everyone to question or cement their beliefs.

Emily “The Queen” Beresford is my favorite female narrator. It is pure epic bossomness that it is Beresford who brings my favorite Full Metal Superhero to life!!!

Amelia and her crew go through a whole lot.

I like this series. I can listen to this while working, and just enjoy the story. Been bouncing back and forth from this to the Kid Sensation series. Really having a great time listening to the two series. Thank you!
