About this listen

A mild-mannered car salesman...a womanizing bartender...a beloved minister with a devoted family. Except for the fact that each of the murder victims is male, Minnesota police can't find a connection between the crimes. But that's because what links them can't be seen with the naked eye.

Losing everything can make a person do crazy things. No one knows that better than Connie Wilson. The shock of suddenly losing her fiancé, Alan, in a car accident is almost too much bear. Until Connie comes up with a plan to stay close to Alan forever. And she's finally found just the man to help her. There's only one thing standing in her way: his wife. She's smart and beautiful and has exactly what Connie desperately needs.

Connie will just have to be smarter, more seductive - and stay one step ahead of a detective who's as determined to save her as Connie is to destroy her....

Entertaining

I've been reading Janne Flukes Hanna Swensen Mysteries serial books and always enjoyed them. When I came across this book I decided to give it a try.

While a huge difference from the Hanna story line Eyes was well thought out and entertained. A bit predictable half way through. The only spoiler I'll give is there is descriptive sexual encounters detailed in the book. While I'm no prude I did find it not necessary to go into so much detail.

Enjoyed it on a recent road trip...

There isn't much better than arriving at your chosen destination...but if you're not there yet...continue driving through the night on a dark country road with no one else in sight as the rain begins to fall when your character's car plunges off a similar road... gripping and suspenseful...enjoy Eyes on Audible

Interesting ending…

The book is overall good, I enjoyed it a lot. The ending is interesting, I would recommend for sure if you’re into suspenseful books.

Too twisted

A little too disturbing for my taste, couldn’t finish it even though I tried a couple times.

No more from this author.

While I enjoyed The Cookie Jar Murders, I found the author's stance against common sense gun control measures reprehensible. I vowed never to read her again. Thought I would give her one more chance, but no. Just another right wing gun nut out on the loose pushing her agenda. Guns for everyone! No background checks! Buying guns should be as easy and fun as buying cookies. Revolting. I'm throwing the book at her. Our children are being mown down by semi-automatic weapons. When will the madness stop? I hope her children and grandchildren survive her evil politics.

So stupid

There was no plausibility to the characters or actions. Another example of crap content to populate Audible’s Plus catalog. I’m over it.
