About this listen

Once a loyal son of the Emperor's Children, Fabius Bile now loathes those he once called brother. But when a former comrade requests his aid on a mission he cannot refuse, Bile is drawn once more into the sinister machinations of his former Legion.

Now, accompanied by new allies and old enemies alike, Fabius Bile must travel deep into the wilds of the Eastern Fringe, in search of a world unlike any other. A world which might hold the key to his very survival. A world called Solemnace....

Great sequel to Primogenitor arguably better than the original. A much more insightful look into the Emperor's Children

Terrific continuation of the Bile series

I enjoyed this one more then the first, It had a end that is satisfying in a sad way that keeps u on edge. The Voice acting is always spot on, u don't get lost in who is who.

This one waa better then the first!

The voice acting was on point for each of the characters building a strong emotional attachment, Bile is shown even more so as terminally frustersted, and the ending was wretched. A fantastic read

Heart wrenching

Another top notch story by Black Library! cannot wait for book 3 to come out! I also hope these books have some impact on what comes to the table top! I want some of Fabius Biles new men to battle with!

Really enjoyed this book. Have a hard copy but being able to listen to it was a nice change of pace. Was done really well. Enjoyed hearing the various characters come to life and really enjoyed hearing some of the thoughts and background of the various characters as well. Well worth reading it listening to.

Fantastic book into one of the coolest characters in the 40K universe

Fabius is one of my favorite characters in all of Warhammer 40K. His interactions with his former brothers and other factions are so interesting to watch unfold. Especially when discussing the nature of his work and its end goal.

Pater Mutatus

A fantastic, and as tragic a tale that has ever been told, that leaves you burning and aching for more. The previous book was good, but this one had the real momentum. Give it a go, it's well worth the listen.

wonderful book. tension is created with emotion rather than continuous conflict. Great to see a ton of different factions represented in this book. The true tragedy of the 3rd legion brought to light and their longing to be legion once more. great listen.

amazing
