Sydney's life is perfect to everyone on the outside looking in, but there is something bothering her about her relationship with fiance Rian. When she comes home to an empty house, and meets Rian's brother Jake her life takes a complete turn. Secrets revealed and a instant connection turn her life around. I love these short romances by Heather B Moore. Each in this series has been amazing, but I really took to this one. Not sure if it is the instant connection with Jake and the rat Rian turned out to be, or the fact that Sydney is not as perfect as portrayed! It shows how life can change on a dime, people are not always who you think and good things come to those who wait. I loved this little gem Narrated by one of my favorites, Xe Sands makes it all happen with a fabulous performance.

I thought this was an interesting story, but it felt little unrealistic. I'm off to read the other two books in the series though... and I'm really enjoying this narrator.

Falling for Sydney (3 stars)

A very romantic story but, since it’s a novella, there’s insta-love. If you are ok with that, then you’ll enjoy the book. I’m not usually a fan of insta-love, but really enjoyed the entire ‘Falling For’ series.

Sydney feels that something is wrong with her fiancé He's seemed distracted and it has her wondering if it's just her, or if something is going on. Enter his older brother who is a broad-shouldered, handsome, responsible, caring rancher. Just the man to enlighten and then comfort her. ;-)

Narration: (4.5 stars)

I’ve heard other books read by Ms. Sands. She’s excellent! So much expression! She’s also got great pacing and men’s voices that sound like men.

Falling for Sydney is a good short story, a little spicier than I thought it would be and pretty unrealistic when you think about it...but still good. The storyline is fast paced and has drama and characters that kept me listening. Narrator did a nice job.
