Publisher's summary

When your soul is torn apart, and your heart feels empty, how do you breathe?

When the flames of hell burn bright, and all hope seems lost, how do you survive?

When war is coming for those you love, and darkness prepares to strike, how do you face the wrath?

When truths are awoken, and the supernatural world is brought to its knees, how do you rise back up?

The time for questions has passed. It is time to act. Time to fight. Time to conquer evil once and for all.

May courage drive you. May you know no fear. May we all rest in peace wherever our pieces may fall.

Great series.

I love this series and so glad to have it on audio now. It brings a favorite series to life for me. I will always want more from this series, and have no doubt it could be an endless journey.

Awesome!

Since I saw a negative review about the narrators, I'll start there. They were awesome! How can you not love them?! They always mail it. I loved this series and wish Harmonies story was on audible.

MMC's were great

I think the main reason this even gets a 4 star is because of the MMC's. They were great and had good personalities and it was entertaining to listen to their POV's. Rhea sadly began bothering me. She made dumb decisions, but would then act tough. She never did anything about anything; she was mostly all talk. It always seemed like a "poor me" mentality and it got old fast. It was also stupid that her men didn't stand up to girls that would come onto them, they'd just put up with it until Rhea would say something. Barf. If some woman came up to hang on and flirt with my man while I was hooked to his arm and he didn't say anything; I'd tell him to kick rocks and I'd be moving on with my life. So unattractive. You shouldn't have to let your green eyed monster show. I wish Rhea would have been a cooler character, her men deserved better. The end of this final book seemed rushed. Basically very little happened and then all the sudden in the last 20% everything was quickly summed up. Some characters never should have been allowed to live and torment as long as they did; like I said Rhea just didn't do anything about anything. She could have ended things for some sooner and it would have been more satisfying.

Both narrator's were good. At first both irritated me a bit; the female gets really breathy sometimes and that's annoying and the male sounded like a snob. But honestly the male voice turned out to be kind of fitting for the Elites. Female voice wasn't annoying enough to turn off, but the breathiness was annoying.

End of the Main Story

I enjoyed the story. I loved the characters . It wasn’t one of my faves of KC’s, but all of her stories are worth a read. She is a great author.

Left Wanting

Man this story really had the potential to be great.
The Narrator voice for both the female and male characters absolutely ruined it for me!!
I will never again listen to Audio books!!
It ruined the story and makes it worse for me personally!!!

Unfortunately for my picky self…
Two major flaws had me deducting a star from my review.
Don’t get me wrong it’s definitely worth the read but as a die hard RH reader… I am disappointed with the overall series. Book 1-4.

#1- As I’ve always stated for a RH…the FMC has to be either a Bad A Warrior or an absolute comedian.
(R) sounded like she was going to end up being a warrior in the first book but that never happened, it wasn’t until the last two chapters that we knew anything about her magic which …I’m assuming the power she showed at the end makes her all powerful but with only having a brief glimpse at it….I’m just not sold on it.
She also was no comedian whatsoever!!!
She actually had a crap Debby Downer/ Poor Me personality and honestly… the worst I have read from a FMC in a long time.

She wasn’t a warrior, wasn’t a comedian, wasn’t a selfless virgin sweetheart…. No she was a B word honestly and had absolutely no reason to be one.
Yes!!! she grew up in foster care but she was clearly never abused or raped which is usually the cause for such a big chip on someone’s shoulder but none of that happened and turns out her mom was watching over her the whole time.
She should of been more understanding and know the NIX did it to protect her because all of her children were targets.

Anyways… I just felt like she was Whinny, Bi***y and Demanding and I’m sorry that’s the absolute worst for the FMC of a RH in my opinion.

#2- There was soooooo much rambling and I feel like the potential great story got lost in the rambling… I mean how many dang times does an author need to portray “ Licking Her Lips” “Licking His Lips” or “ Licking my Lips” ???? OMG!!! Seriously???

That phrase used to be so hot to me and now it is ruined forever.

Anywho…. The story is still worth the read and like I said …I’m picky so someone else may not find the same flaws as me.

The Spice was really good for a RH and I have no complaints at all which is usually my biggest complaint in RH series. 4 Stars for Spice Level.

I’m actually excited to read Harmonia’s book next!!!
She has the Bad A Warrior vibe that I love!!!
I am crossing my fingers that she will continue being awesome in her book!!!

Wtf!

I loved the series I really did but the ending to fearless souls was not it 😭 so many things left unanswered and the next book is harmonias story maybe we will get more answers in there but since it’s taking a different direction I doubt it. Overall a great series a little disappointed with the end tho.

Ria ruins the story…

I absolutely HATE the MF… Ria is beyond unlikable & makes it so hard to enjoy it. The story is good but the main female & the awful narrators seriously ruin it a lot. How can anyone make the main character so unbelievably stupid & negative? She constantly makes stupid decisions, thinks of herself as a badass but literally hasn’t done anything heroic or badass. Her long winded inner monologue & unbelievable selfishness is too much. She’s rude & so self involved she doesn’t see anything outside herself, unbelievably ungrateful and it’s not even her poor pitiful life, it’s just pathetic & self pitying. I wish the story had a main female that’s actually likable. If only magic could change her entire personality.
