Helpful better than unhelpful

I have been placed on disability due to severe fibromyalgia. The hypnosis and affirmations are useful.

Love it

I liked the affirmations, the meditations and the narrator-anyone with chronic pain will appreciate this audio book.

Real Results, after a lifetime of Pain

Skeptical of trying this but desperate for relief from pain, depression and despair. I BELIEVE!

not really a story, it is a meditation book

this is the best meditation book that I have ever listen to. I have fibromyalgia and when I listen to this I can fall asleep and stay asleep for hours.

I use this audiobook every day

I have fibromyalgia along with osteoarthritis. Chronic pain causes depression, but I can't take antidepressants because I also have bipolar disorder (they can cause a manic episode) so I have to get creative with my mental health.

Every morning I do some stretches, Tai Chi, listen to and repeat the affirmations and then go to the meditation track. I sit through the guided part (meditation is hard) then during the rest of the track that only contains the soothing music, I do some mindful exercises. I journal, work in self help workbooks and even color.

It is a fantastic way to start my day. I am grateful for this audiobook.

Not so great

The voice of the author is very nice but the music is not relaxing at all, becomes more disturbing in following chapters.
