About this listen

Hades retired from the business.

Now it’s just me.

Look at me now...bitter...angry...depressed. I resent my former friend so much, even hate the guy, but I’ve never been the same since he refused to forgive me.

I meet a woman. She’s like all the others...beautiful, interesting, good at the fun stuff, but I don’t feel anything.

One woman will love you for you, not your money or your power, but you’ll lose her. And once she’s gone...she’s gone.

That gypsy wasn’t right about me too, right?

I’ve got trouble on my doorstep when the new Skull King shows up. He wants a cut of my business.

Like he’s getting anything. This is all I have left.

Once again I become swallowed by the underworld.

Will I survive it?

WOW.. AN EMOTIONAL 3 BOOK ROLLERCOASTER

First, Second and Forever tells a twisty story of passion, denial, love, commitment, obsession and consequences because, when Annabelle and Damien start their ‘relationship’, neither one was prepared for the emotional rollercoaster that follows. And, at times, neither was I.

Penelope Sky has written another gripping story with toe-curling chemistry, sex, passion, pulse-pounding emotional tension, climactic heartache, twists, angst, gutty lows, deep love and pre-loved characters from her previous books. Also a few breadcrumbs which will hopefully lead to a future series starring the new heartless Skull King. An unpredictable unique love story with threats and thrills.. climaxes and chills.. heartbreak and heartwarming character growth.. sinners and unlikely saviors.. battlefields and bloodshed.. suspense and sweet redemption.. and loyalty and love. The dual POV chapters, the feels and the cast of characters were brilliantly brought to life by two talented narrators who always delivered a five star performance.

Worth a credit? It’s a compelling, exciting and entertaining story that spans three books in total and (IMO) YES, each an every one, was definitely creditworthy.

Good but

My only disappointment is that they do not have the last two books of the series

I just can’t I was just so into the other books. I hate the male subject in this one. I blame him like he was real lol

The other books made me hate this guy. So I can’t listen to this book

Drama, stubbornness and miscommunication.

I listened to the audio version of this story.
Drama, drama, drama and lack of communication is the theme of this book.
While I enjoyed this story better than the others I still was angry at Hades and the way he treated Damien for almost the whole way thru. He actually redeemed himself when he helped Damien in his time of need so I'm thrilled with that outcome.
Now I loved Annabelle until she went back to her old life. I was confused why she rushed right back into an unhappy situation so fast.
Damien I liked him too especially how he was with his father and Annabelle until he acted like a jerk. Someone needs to shake so sense into that man. I couldn't stand Liam and how he pressured her in her most vulnerable time.
I hope something changes on the trajectory of this story for the better because a lot of these characters need a good kick in the _ _ _!
