About this listen

Every disaster brings an opportunity.

Goth Sullus and his empire have fallen.

With the Legion and the rest of the galaxy watching from the still-smoldering galactic core, Carter, a former legionnaire turned private contractor, and Jack Bowie, a Navy spy with nowhere left to turn, sign up to work for an enterprising private contractor looking to make a statement on the planet Kublar.

Plans are in motion dating back to the Savage Wars, and as the galaxy rushes to fill in the vacuum created by the fall of the Imperial Republic, the bodies are hitting the floor.

But every plan has a reckoning…

Takeover is the thrilling aftermath of the final, desperate execution of Article Nineteen and the looming rebirth of the Legion and the galaxy itself as Galaxy’s Edge: Season Two begins!

Another great entry into the story

Lots of new characters introduced into series, and a few old ones drop by for a visit. Overall, a good start for the season two, with some very nice twists to a story.
I didn't mind the change of narrator too much, but the butchery of Chhuns name is ... annoying.

It aint over yet!

In most tales, when the big bad dies the story is over. But in the Galactic Dumpster Fire the Story continues. In the wale of Goth Sullus' death, the collapse of the republic and the passing of Article 19, new players are emerging to take advantage of the chaos. But who is Nelo, snd what is he really up to?

Another Exciting Entry! Consistantly Entertaining!

After having listened to the first five parts of the main Galaxy's Edge series, I continued on to listen to every book released of all of the wonderful offshoot stories within the same universe. You don't need to read any of the others to enjoy this book as a good military/sci-fi outing, but you'll get more out of this one if you have. And you'll have a great time listening to the others, too.

Plenty of people have said lots of good things about the series in general and this book in particular (well deserved praise), so I won't try to be more clever than all of them and find some way to convince someone this far down in the reviews that this book is worth your time. (But it is.) It's a sort of 'welcome back' to the 'main' story within the Galaxy's Edge universe, and I was eagerly awaiting getting to witness the aftermath of Part V. I wasn't disappointed! I can't wait for the next one (and all of the other stories that will pop up to flush out the rest of the universe)!

Great Story - Meh Performance

It’s really hard to go from RC Bray’s masterful skill as a voice actor, to Ray Porter butchering Chun’s name. The least he could have done was make sure that he made sure to match RC’s pronunciations.

Grest listens

The Ghee, a race of Aliens were very much like the religion of war we have on the other side of the earth, very interesting similarities, i liked the series because it is showcasing the same old hang ups we suffer from currently in the real world but with a science fiction storyline.

New Narrrator Takes Time To Get Used To

The new narrator was a bit jarring at first, but wound up excellent. The story was solid, but after the end of the last book, it just felt small. Overall a solid book if unremarkable. I am interested to see where the story goes next season.
