About this listen

Weather Warden Joanne Baldwin is on vacation when her Djinn lover, David, asks Joanne to marry him. She's thrilled to say yes, even if some others may be less than happy about it. Unfortunately, Joanne's pre-marital bliss is ended by a devastating earthquake in Florida. And she can't ask David and his kind for assistance, because the cause of the quake is unlike anything Joanne has ever encountered - a power even the Djinn cannot perceive.

It’s the beginning of the end

This book kicks off the final trilogy of the series. There is no resolution, so think of this as part one and
be prepared to move on to books 8 and 9 immediately. After a lackluster middle trilogy (which I’d say you could skip entirely), this one shakes things up with a terrorist spin on human-djinn relations.
It also ups the ante with named villains, gut-punching betrayals, and heartfelt (and surprisingly complex) relationship threads involving bff Cherise, fiancé/djinn David, and frenemy/punk/Fire Warden Kevin.
I still feel like things run slow, and per usual the first and last chapters pack in the story, but this last trilogy won me back and made me glad I invested my time.

Meh...

It was an ok book, but no real ending like the previous books. This one leads directly into the next one since there is no resolution. From the synopsis of the next book, I have a feeling it will be the same... I hope I am wrong about it.

GLAD I CONTINUED THIS SERIES. VERY EXCITING AND ACTION PACKED.

I stop after book six because it was getting a bit repetitive at certain places. Bu after going through my library I decided to give book seven a chance and I so glad I did. At last the action is staring again. Weather Warden , Joanne Baldwin and her Djinn lover, David decide to get married. Of course there are problems people/djinns trying to obstruct their happiness. Very interesting action throughout! Will continue the series to the next book..

Very Good

Not wanting to give away the story, I'm just going to say, "Trust Me!" If you have been reading paranormal books for a while, then like me they all start sounding alike. The situation change, but all the stories you can figure out the outcome before the third chapter. This book is different, a new perspective. Read it and start with book one. You are going to love this Arthur and her visions.

Bring it Gril!!

Everywhere Joann goes there are weather problems. She is funny resourceful and always horny for David. I enjoy see her get into trouble through her altruistic endowers. I am waiting for David to tell her that if you let me kill him in book one he would not be a problem now! But??? I don???t think that would matter, since dead does not necessary mean dead. Fast cars, weather hair, great shoes, and lots of attitude makes this series a fun read.
