Publisher's summary

My boss wants me to have his baby.

Under normal circumstances, that'd be an easy "Uhh… no." But Gavriil Nikolaev is not the kind of man who likes to be denied.

Besides, even if I did find him attractive—which I most certainly do not… And even if I wasn't his employee—which I definitely am… There's no getting around the fact that he's an incredibly dangerous man.

I've been down this road before, and it almost ruined my life. I refuse to do it again. But he doesn't seem to care what I will or won't do. He's got his eyes set on me. And he won't take no for an answer.

Gavriil Nikolaev is book two in the Nikolaev Bratva trilogy. The story of the Nikolaev brothers continues in book three, Bastien Nikolaev.

Story was unique!

The story still had the same structure that these mafia romances have but she filled in the "frame" with some new strokes. I love this actress but I didn't like her choice in voice for Gavrill.

Great book

This was a great story. I enjoyed the characters as they fell in love. There was less sex and a great story. I enjoyed this as a change from very very dark mafia books.

Great book

I love books like this. I wish the author would do an epilogue to complete the full story. Only downside

Not for me

The story was predictable but not bad. I don’t like the female narrator at all, she tries too hard to “act” and it sounds lame. I think if I had read the book instead of listened to her it would be better.

Just not for me…

First I want to start off bu saying the description is misleading. I thought Gavriil was going to be relentlessly and intentionally trying knock up Hannah and making it well known. Or that he was going to proposition her to have his baby and the romance would follow. Or something like that but four hours in all I’ve gotten is needless public displays of gang style violence, boring and quick to the point sex with no seduction or foreplay just insert penis here type of sex scenes, more public violence, dumb ideas to take out their enemy, constant reminders that Gavriil doesn’t need any distractions while his mother tries to set him up, a random betrayal, and the lost goes on. Needless to say I’m not a fan. I wish I could return this. The narrators weren’t the worst but they were not good fit for the characters. And yeah the not having a Russian accent thing ended up being a bigger deal breaker than In thought.
