About this listen

Slavers and planet pirates have wreaked havoc in the galaxy for far too long, and now the fate of the galaxy is placed in the hands of the Generation Warriors. But before they can set about executing their plan, Sassinak is ordered to FedCentral to testify against slavers; her great-great-great-grandmother, Lunzie, discovers the true nature of a new friend; Fordeliton investigates the connection between the super-rich and the planet pirates; Dupaynil is exiled to Seti space; and Aygar is out to prove he has brains and brawn.

Sassinak and Lunzie team up with the other Generation Warriors to save the galaxy once and for all from the threat posed by the pirates—and worse—in this hair-raising conclusion to the Planet Pirates trilogy.

I've read this book and there are parts missing information about what happened with the series in the things that happened to Ford on his ant's yacht.

this was abridged

Way too short. Not enough time to develop anything worthwhile. I don't understand the logic in making it.

Not worth the price.

I really like the story, but this abridged audible version is less than a fourth of the book. It has a lot of excitement and action, but it’s missing out on what fleshes out the story and let you know what’s actually going on. I recommend skipping the audible book and getting the paper or e-book.

Extremely abridged

I liked the way Sass and her ancestor solved the mystery and brought down the perpetrators of the centuries old crimes of planet pirates. Maybe it’s just me but I really hoped for more romance.

Family Ties

I read this book many years ago and enjoyed it , now I’ve been listening to it . And enjoyed it all over again . Anne McCaffrey and Elizibeth Moon have always been one of my favorite authors .

I was appalled when I realized this was abridged. I ever buy abridged versions. No wonder it seems so chopped

Expect more

I knew the story but this was a poor choice of narrator following the first two. Ruined the continuity by making Lunzie southern.

poor vocal

Abridged. Not nearly as long as I recall. Rather disappointing for a full credit. Which is essentially 1 month of payment.

$16 for 2 hours

The first 2 books should be read in the reverse order. This finish to the series was lightweight and kind of annoying. Especially given that I listened to the first two in the order recommended. By the time I listened to the last one, details were distant. Good yarn but disappointing, rushed and a bit weak conclusion.
This should’ve been the ending of #1, which should be read/listened to after #2.

Lame end to a good tale

I love this series and was excited to find it as an audio book. This version is so abridged that it guts the story and ends up making very little sense to the unknowing. Very disappointed.

That being said, the narration was a very good performance.

But overall, not with the credit because the story was gutted to bare bones and it ruins the final chapter of a multigenerational space pirate saga.

Very very very abridged version
