About this listen

If you mix Sword Art Online and The Land, and make them both darker - Project Chrysalis is what you get in this new Gamelit series.

Chrysalis is the project of the century. It’s a hyper-realistic fantasy RPG set in the Middle Ages. Chrysalis is a perfect virtual reality game where every orphan under governmental care is placed in an in-game family to finally obtain all the love and care from the parents which kids need so desperately. But for one orphan who took part in this program something went horribly wrong.

Instead of a happy childhood Anji suffers from demonification. Being betrayed for the sake of someone else's master plan he finds himself in the most hopeless place of Chrysalis: Hell which is full of bloodthirsty demons, agony, and despair.

Sagie (Anji’s in-game username), empowered by homesickness and revenge, will go through Hell to face those who’ve taken everything from him. Cruel gods, bloody demons and game officers whose purpose is to keep order and safe balance, who will do their best to stop him on his crusade. The road will be long and gruesome. Blessed are those who struggle.

the story was good but there were some difficulties in understanding the numbers that were being put out for resistances. the narration was done well, and easy to understand. I saw there are four books currently out and I fear it will take audible five years to finish those four.

good story, good narration,

this book overall is the best book I've listened to in a long time. the relatability to the character was extremely intense. it's like you listen to it and you're there right next to the character. this book is extremely connectable. I highly recommend to anybody who likes litrpgs. the only downside is that I don't think they're going to make a second book. My overall rating is 20 out of 10.

The connection to the character.

It's like dealing with a grown up w and then brains. They know he's smart but treat him as a kid so they don't expect what he does. Great.

Great start

The character was over powered but the bad situation he kept getting him self in was not his fault and they are what got him to be overpowered

This was a nice and unique book
