About this listen

Would you love a monster girl?

Grace Daytau is a gargoyle with a fresh lease on life. After turning state's evidence gets her witness protection at a university campus, she's determined to play it straight. There's just one problem: She hasn't been to school in almost 20 years! If she can't make the grade, Daytau will revoke her WitPro scholarship, leaving her at the mercy of the syndicates.

She has a lot of catching up to do.

Daniel Koffman does his best to avoid entanglements as he uses college coursework to further forbidden genetic research. But when a mysterious woman offers him an obscene payday to tutor a gargoyle, the offer is simply too good to refuse.

It's an arrangement that will change his life.

Daniel was in it for the money. Grace was in it to make good on a fresh start. Both had secrets to keep and neither wanted anything more. But love has a funny way of creeping in, and in their case, it all started with a little white lie....

A great romantic book

I like it that this book is a little different from the other two. A lot more world building and both Grace and Daniel were great.

I wonder who will be next. I can se Cynthia and an Aladdin esc thief (I would love that dynamic). The Succubus that started all of this would be cool to follow. Or maybe one of these humans that live in the tracks and a Lamia (just would love a snake girl). Don’t think There is any other.. ah maybe emerald slime chick? Or a slime in general, that would be a very interesting read.

In any case I am eagerly awaiting the next book!

love these books

honestly loving these stories. downside is I have to almost blow out the speakers in my truck to listen to it while driving. the range is amazing the voice actors are great but all the whispered conversations make me worry for my speakers safety. enjoying seeing where this overall story goes. and I'm wondering what the next one will be

A Lovely Dovey sorry

Oh boy I've read, will listened to, what I would think is a good portion of Cebelius with "mask of the template" and to "can you love a monster girl?" and a bit of T.A.P. As those stories have a substantial amount of action. This one is a nice change of pace. If you want more of a love story this one is it. I think it may be my favorite of this series. And hope there would be more like this.

fantastic like the rest of the series

Daniel is very interesting guy, Grace was also interesting and a fantastic counter point for him. I really can't wait for more in this series.
I admit when I first started and found out this be sorta episodic I was worried. however each monster girl and guy makes a fantastic read, it's also interesting to see each dynamic.

I honestly love this series.

I'll keep my review brief.
I absolutely adore this series, it's always a great balance if story and "fan service", and while I wasn't always a fan of Daniel as a character (honestly I just wanted to know more about Grace after book 2), I will say the author going from two cops in the previous books to a college student as the human lead was refreshing.

The more I learn about this world, the more I want to know, and I'm hoping the series continues because I want to see where all the pieces fit in. If there is a book 4, I am curious to know who the female monster lead will be, though I do have my suspicions. If I had a criticism, it would be that I would like to see a lesbian pairing, though I know that would certainly complicate one of the more prevailing themes. Still it would be interesting.

I look forward to hopefully seeing a book 4.

That was really good. Quite a bit different then the other two but a nice addition. The next one should be interesting.

Another great entry.

This was another great entry in this series. The author needs to keep popping out these books.
