Publisher's summary

Tira's enemies close in as her mind fractures.

With the Summoning Gate under threadbare control and the Stranger defeated, Tira’s sights turn now to the war with Amedia. Their raiding party is en route with the sole intention of crushing what they think is the last surviving Kholvenic Dungeon—her.

But Tira isn’t alone. She’s got more allies than ever, and she’s ready for war. Almost.

One last obstacle stands in her way: the loss of Kolme and Dux has left her fractured and reeling. The only way to heal is to locate a Wraith and restore her memories—and face the startling revelations they contain.

To top it off, adventurers are still challenging themselves against her dungeon, her connections to her symbiotic cores are strained, Xenovore might be friend or foe, and worst of all, an alien being shows up on her doorstep with a dire warning and portents of things to come.

The good news? A dinosaur’s jaws can solve any problem.

Great, But on the Verge of Being Too Epic.

For every problem the Dinosaur Dungeon core fixes, 3 more (potentially bigger) problems come up as a result. Decisive victory in a war was thwarted, creatures from the abyss have been pushed back, and the villains are coming back to hit all at once, and they're bringing backup from both seen and unseen places.

The dinosaurs and wayward adventures continue to be a treat. There's great action, dialogue, and development. Past mistakes begin to rear their ugly (and terrifying) heads, and the burdens they bare carry a weight that can break our heroes in more ways than one. It's satisfying seeing them overcome all their issues and hold strong together. This audiobook and the story up to this point has been truly magical.

The growing issue toward the end of this book is the growing amount of problems that are happening EVERYWHERE. Without giving out any spoilers, with the growing amount of internal and external problems and threats popping up, it seems like the only way the issues will be resolved in future books will consist of a lot of epic ridiculousness. Still, the series has been a surprise enjoyment since book one and has continued to deliver a lot of laughs and action-packed dinosaur excitement. No real reason to lose faith now.

Well Dang

There needs to be another book! This ending left the worst cliff hanger of any book I have listened too! Imagine if Lion King ended with Nala and Simba wrestling!

Another phenomenal book! If you are a fan of Dungeon Core LitRPGs, this is top tier!
No over powered characters, great pacing, good villains, a couple plot holes but overall, it was great!!!!!!

Needs a Saturday morning cartoon.

A well-done expansion to the series, the LGBT inclusion is light and not slammed into the readers face and properly treated a just a observation, not a heavy focus, just like the Standard relationships just as it should be.

Forced motivations for the antagonists.

It was good mostly through until the end. We learn of the motivations of one of the antagonists is that she hates dungeons and that it had killed someone close to them. They go for revenge on the dungeon that killed their loved one. Yet even when a resolution comes up that should of destroyed her plans for revenge, she gets all "I'm angry and hateful no matter what" and decides to keep trying to kill everyone. This is not how people act. Why is she even motivated to keep being the enemy at that point. It's irritating and unrealistic and forceful just to add drama and conflict. Also "nictitating membrane" is used every single time teara describes a dinosaur. You will notice every single time.

Dinosaurs

This series has gotten better and better and now I have to wait for book 4 . I love how much research was done for this writing.

Another winner!

This series does a really good job writing books with a beginning, middle and end while still gradually moving towards a broader end goal. I finished this book feeling like I read a book not just part of one. Anyways, there is a lot going on in this book. It sometimes feels like the dungeon building and diving doesn’t really go along with the plot of the story but since this is dungeon core it kind of needs to be there. I’m excited to see what happens next! The narration was terrific. It definitely enhances the experience of reading this book.

Still good, but with more fighting.

so this book was still very enjoyable. the narration was amazing, once again.

I have a hard time keeping my focus when there are extended fight scenes, and there were plenty of those in this book. That is personal to me, however.

I enjoy the slice of life building that happened more in the first two books, and hearing how all of the new stuff in the new areas worked and I feel like there was a lot less in this book. It is set up well for the story to continue, so I am very much looking forward to the next book in the series!
